Yes, Hank Green is John Green’s brother, no his book is nothing like John Green’s- I promise it’s not a plotless romance. AART is an amazing novel about fame in the internet age and the corrupting nature of power- all against the backdrop of a sci fi mystery with giant, impossible robots and infectious puzzle dreams and so much more. This is such an amazing, creative book!! Edit: it just dawned on me that this is actually a duology and the second book is coming out this year WOOPS! But you should still absolutely read it!! Anyway here’s another rec: Station Eleven by Emily Mandel. It’s story that follows a travelling Shakespeare troupe in a post-apocalyptic world, and it beautiful and hard hitting and poignant and just so raw. I loved it sm!!
