OF THE SACRED TWENTY EIGHT: [1/?] → Regulus Black
But Master Regulus had proper order; he knew what was due to the name of Black and the dignity of his pure blood. For years he talked of the Dark Lord, who was going to bring the wizards out of hiding to rule the Muggles and the Muggle-borns... and when he was sixteen years old, Master Regulus joined the Dark Lord. So proud, so proud, so happy to serve...

I know you’re going to ask me Harry, but I don’t know who cursed me. I’ve been trying to remember, honestly. But I just c a n ’ t.

What do you think happened to Dennis Creevey?
He feels the horror spreading in his veins at the end of his first year -Harry Potter clutching at the dead body of Cedric Diggory, screaming, crying, telling Voldemort was back- his brother trying but not managing to calm him down- "What will happen to us, Colin?"
He never gets an answer.
Second year doesn't come as a sudden feeling of horror -rather, as a constantly increasing fear and panic. He's afraid of Umbridge. He doesn't really understand the reason behind the tension drumming in his veins- but he knows something will happen. Then he joins D.A. His brothers knows what he's doing, and Dennis trusts him. If Colin trusts Harry, so does he. He feels sick when Dumbledore disappeares -he's terrified something happen to him or Colin. After all, they're just muggle-borns.
Then, the one person who is strong enough to protect them dies.
He remembers the way Dumbledore simply lies there: Broken and powerless. He feels sick- he is only thirteen and this is the second dead body he sees. He stands between the crowd in a haze: He can't think, he can't feel, he can't cry. A hand grabs his shoulder and he looks up to see his brother. He remember how he used to trust him with his life, how he thought he was completely safe as long as he had him.
He knows he will never be safe now.
Then they go to hiding. He's bitter about leaving his education but not Hogwarts- the castle hadn't brought him anything but horror and death. He wakes up in the night, sweating and screaming- the dream about getting caught still lingering on his eyelids. Every single day is like torture- he is scared and tense and impatient.
Then, the Battle of Hogwarts happens and he loses everything.
He remembers how Colin looks smaller- and he wonders how did such a tiny boy protected all his family. His eyes are still open, dull; his determined frown still lingering on his face. Someone had put his wand on his chest. With a wave of anger, he takes it and snaps it in the middle. He hates that wand. He hates that castle. He wishes they never got those letters, so maybe, just maybe, his brother's corpse wouldn't be lying on the cold hard floor.
So what do you think happened to him later?
What do you think happened to Dennis Creevey?
He stopped on a picture of his parent’s wedding day. There was his father waving up at him, beaming, the untidy black hair Harry had inherited standing up in all directions. There was his mother, alight with happiness, arm in arm with his dad.
