muse: jonas jang aka xthree, youtuber and competitive gamer plot: here!

jonas had been to many reveal events before, with his pre-release gameplay footage always being the most popular. this was down to his great analysis of characters, mechanics, aesthetics and his ability to get exclusive information for his channel. although all of this great, jonas always felt something wrong at these events. a sense of loneliness. he was used to that by now but seeing all the other popular creators catching up, laughing with each other. it still stung him.

jonas saw a figure in the corner of his eye. he didn’t really like looking at his opponents until after the fight, too much of a distraction, so he went and picked his character, already expecting the winning result. but jonas’ arrogance was quickly shot down, with him losing the match very quickly. snapping his head to the person beside him, he simply smiled at them.
