So I think Satine’s involvement in the conflict on ANY side is based on Lillian’s choices OR her support level with other units. She’d be obtained in a Paraloge on any side about how she is in possession of some of the few capable farmlands in Faerghus and to any side that’s valuable. She will either speak to Lillian or if she has not been recruited to the unit in the current army under the Professor she has the highest support with to be swayed to that side.

Even in Azure Moon based on her bitterness about her past that the unrest in Faerghus after Duscar has caused she wouldn’t side with them right away. She’d seal herself up in her family’s home after the fall of Gareg Mache.

I’m going to write the conversation she has with Lillian for both Azure Moon and Crimson Flower since those are the path I’ve beaten and the one I’m playing atm because I find it interesting.

9. ♥ Are they patient with their partners?

Patience is of high value with Wysteria, considering her own past comes back ot her in bits and pieces and she struggles with emotions it can be hard for her to honestly express herself at any given time. Whether it’s a flaw, weakness or hesitance in a partner Wysteria is beyond patient with them. She’s used to feeling the constant pressure of maintaining the Shepherds safety, so she knows how heavy the expectations of others can be she has no desire to put unnecessary weight on a partner. The more she is told and can come to understand something her partner needs or can’t do the more willing she is to accept it and work with them through it or around it based on what’s called for.

Of course she hopes for this same kind of patience in return but, being  the work horse she is if a partner isn’t careful she’ll let them trample right past returning the favor feeling it’s her responsibility to deal with her own short comings, not theirs.

11. ♥ Do they make an effort to find someone with similar views, be they political or moral?

Sort of but, at the same time not really. Satine is a firm believer that you certainly do not have to agree with your partner on all or even most aspects in life there are only a few key principles that matter to her the rest exists outside the relationship in her mind. Holding respect for all people regardless of gender, status, etc. based purely on their personal merit is a big one for her. People must EARN respect and nothing outside of deeds and actions should determine how people are treated, partners with biases against or for certain sexes, races etc. are a big no go with her.

Politics is NOT Satine’s favorite, as long as the politics don’t get in the way of her basic beliefs she really couldn’t care less. As long as a partner doesn't clash with one of her core beliefs and she doesn’t clash with one of theirs she wouldn’t go out of her way to find someone who believes things the EXACT same way she does down to the letter. That’s just exhausting and likely in hr mind a fruitless endeavor to begin with.

The Crest of Verona

The Verona family has it’s own unique place in the history of the Nobility in Fodlan, much in part to some unique properties of their family’s Crest. While the Crest of Verona offers in battle powers not unseen by other crests, small bursts of regeneration, it is it’s secondary effect that makes it far more valuable, as well as it’s rarity in occurrence even in the most pure-blooded members  of the Verona family.

The Crest itself bonds well to other crest bearing bloodlines, male of female if one is to have a child with someone bearing this crest and even their bloodline bears a crest of it’s own somewhere it is far more likely than usual the child will be born with the Crest of the non-Veronian bloodline. What’s more the stronger the crest of the non-Veroninan parent the more likely any of their offspring will bear at least a minor crest.

While initially a very small house in the Kingdom of Faerghus, their main claim being that they watched over some of the Kingdom’s fertile lands. However, over the centuries House Verona has amassed power and close relations with other houses by marrying off rare bearers of their house crest to much more powerful families in need of a Crest bearing heir, especially those with weakening bloodlines at the time but, in general as well. Satine is the first bearer of a Crest of Verona in 2 generations and the first bearer of a Full Crest in 5.

Fun fact regardless of what house Lillian joins and whether or not Satine stays in the Blue Lion house they remain close friends. This is namely because Lillian has very little concept of some of the more cloaked dangers other people hold and Satine feels responsible for her.

Though she’d never admit it the real truth is more complicated than just that however. Satine would like to deny it but she enjoys Lillian’s company and views her as a sibling she never had, desiring any kind of family after her own has fallen to ruin. Yet she knows Lillian has no concept for such things and wouldn't’ dream of forcing the idea on her.
