So in chapter 120, we find out that the demons are only able to keep a humanoid form and level of intelligence through eating humans
As well as this, if the demons stop eating humans, they will lose their shape, their awareness, and their reasons, reverting to something more like the wild demons. This raises the question - what about Musica and Sun Joo, demons who refuse to eat humans in accordance with their religion?
Even demons that DO eat human meat (even though it’s the poor quality, battery farm type) are reverting, a process that only takes 6 months. In that case, how have Musica and Sun Joo, who have been alive for thousands of years, manages to maintain the most humanoid forms out of all the demons we’ve seen so far? And going even further, their entire religion forbids the eating of humans. What do the others of their religion look like, and how have they managed to maintain themselves?
Is it possible that Norman is misinformed, or lying? Or that Melody and Sun Joo are lying? I feel like the second option is less likely, since we see Sun Joo wishing to hunt humans again when he is alone. Either way, it’s all pretty suspicious.
but also like... chill GOL will probably be an OVA, i definitely didn’t expect it to be in the last episode especially when there was still so much left to cover after ep 23... plus GOL was a whole different work to banana fish and would need probably at least as much time as ep 24 to cover !!
