Goodnight to this Win who realizes he can't abandon Team in episode seven after questioning his feelings in episode six, so he shows up to hold a dejected Team, and apologizes to Team for leaving him in a moment of doubt.
And I KNOW it's you coming through tomorrow because you are both wearing the same outfits from the end of episode six with y'alls reds and blues.
Goodnight to this Win, and this Win only.
I'll see your raising-the-bar-for-boys-in-a-BL ass tomorrow.
Diego knows Miles thinks he killed his father. He learned it after a messy night with some strong pain relievers.
And Diego brushes it off because the kid wasn't lucid. He could have meant a dozen things by it. But he looks at the evidence when they're all going through it again one day and he just thinks
Maybe
Maybe there was a chance Miles did do it.
But he doesn't get to know what happened because soon after, he's in a coma. When he wakes up and gets caught up on the world, he hears about Miles' trial. He asks how it ended. He can remember, vaguely, Miles's confession.
He gets the details and sighs with relief. "Dumb fucking brat. I'm going to give him a piece of my mind."
“It took me by surprise
The hatred in his eyes
I've pushed this man as far as he could go
But he lacked the words to let me know
He acted out, now I can see it is my fault…”
Summary: Virgil's always been mean to Roman. It's how he is. But... What happens when his actions and words start to hurt?

Ch. 1 [Here] //
Virgil rubbed his eyes, yawning and observing the usual chaos going on in the kitchen. Nobody in the headspace could cook very well, and the only one who regularly tried was Patton. And… it never worked out very well. Fire and smoke filled the room, the smell of burnt bacon making it evident what caused it this time.
The first few times he was regularly coming up to see the light sides, the sight of this made him turn away and lock himself in his room. His anxiety couldn’t handle a fire. What if it hurt somebody?! But now this was his normal.
He scanned the room. Patton and Logan were attempting to put out the fire, although it wasn’t working. And Roman usually helped them put it out. Now… He sat at the counter and stared at them, tapping his foot and slouching in his seat. His clothes looked wrinkled and weren’t his usual sparkling clean.
Virgil noticed he’d been declining, but he didn’t think it got this bad. His clothes had been getting less and less pristine, and he’d gotten more and more tired. He’d never been this… Clear about it, though. Always trying to act like everything was fine. Nothing was wrong, he was just getting lazy! No need to worry about him. Virgil worried. He worried a lot. He worried about everyone and everything that could possibly go wrong.
But… Virgil wasn’t nice. He didn’t worry to people. He’d be annoying, or a bother, or a nuisance. It was better just to ignore it and hope it got better. [if you ask him if he’s okay, they’ll think you’re weak.]
“What do you think you’re doing, Sir Sings-a-lot? You look like trash,” Virgil sneered, walking over to the counter where Roman sat. “Aren’t you usually busy being all pretty~?”
Roman whipped around to Virgil and seemed to flinch . He looked horrible, like he’d never slept in his life. Dark circles under his eyes, messy hair, and a hollow expression. He sighed and opened his mouth to reply, but closed it seconds later and opted for just looking blankly at the emo.
“Alright, kiddos!” The dad side interrupted after finally putting out the fire. “I may have taken my baking abilities a bit too fire... But don’t flame it on me,” He pointed at the stove. “That thing needs to be replaced!”
Logan cleared his throat. “Actually, this oven is more than adequate. It is safe and effective. If Patton cannot cook on it, it is simply his lack of skill.” He said, waving away the clouds of smoke still around.
“Hey!”
“What? I am just stating the facts.”
Roman groaned quietly in annoyance from the counter and got up, going upstairs without a word.
Patton’s expression dropped to concern and he turned to Virgil. “...What happened to Roman? Is he okay?” He asked.
“...I’m not sure. He’s been like that for the past few days, I guess.”
“Oh.”
Virgil sighed. Roman had his ups and downs over the years, and even though Virgil and him didn’t talk, he still knew. Thomas had a lack in creativity, in motivation, and couldn’t do a lot of his favorite things properly until he was better. Remus was still there, but he couldn’t handle it all on his own. He specializes in the weird and unusual, which doesn’t work out when you need to act like a sane person. Thomas was nothing without Roman. Not like Virgil helped-- He just gave him anxiety about it. [What if you never get an acting job ever again? Your dreams are going to be ruined at this rate!]
What in the world was going on to make Creativity so...Upset? None of the sides had done anything to him. Hell, they were trying to be nicer. He was probably being overdramatic about some dumb shit.
Roman was overdramatic. That was his thing. Maybe it was just that. Virgil couldn’t help but still worry. The usually bright green eyes were dulling, his carefully swept hair all spiked up.
There had to be something wrong. Something. Was it Remus, Janus... Or both? Oh, it probably was. The bastards were always up to something, something terrible. Virgil lived with them for years, he’d know! He remembered being chased around by an eleven year old Remus clutching a bat and laughing like a maniac after he caught Virgil sneaking in on him, or Janus carefully crafting his words to hurt him in the worst way possible when Virgil had--... It was terrible.
He'd confront them, yeah. See exactly what they were doing to his Roman.
The way Mary is about Carson coming with her when she’s engaged to Carlisle seems like a big departure to me and on the one hand I think we’re meant to see Carlisle’s influence in that but on the other hand I don’t feel satisfied with how it was resolved (between her and Carson). Which is a problem I have a lot on this show because in general things get talked around a lot and nobody’s big on apologies. But Mary is one of the ones who does ever apologize and I would have liked one, or at least a more direct acknowledgment that she treated him - not badly by the Official Rules, but not the way she should have for their relationship! Hate these resolutions that don’t address what happened! I’m too literal for this!
