Buck leaned in, his voice low but teasing. “Admit it. You’re blushing.”
Eddie crossed his arms over his chest, still pink in the cheeks despite his adamant denial. “I don’t blush.” He repeated, more stubborn now.
Buck leaned back slightly, giving him that smug little smirk Eddie had grown dangerously fond of. “I’ve seen you blush a hundred times.”
“You’ve seen wrong.”
Buck tilted his head, eyes narrowing with challenge. “You know,” He said slowly, his voice dipping into something low. “I could make you blush if I wanted to.”
Eddie turned his head and quirked his eyebrows. “Is that a challenge?”
Buck grinned, clearly pleased. “Absolutely.”
Eddie leaned in just slightly, lips twitching at the edges. “Okay, Buckley, you’re on.” He said, eyes shining. “Impress me.”
