Love that in season 2 of RB Blades mentions the internet which leads me to wonder, how much unsupervised Internet access does Blades?

He gently reached for Lucas face and caressed his cheek, just trying to keep the starlette calm and well. He wanted so badly to comfort Lucas, to pick him up in his arms and carry him to the shelter. But he didn’t want to push him or force him. Though part of him only now registered that he had just kissed the young man’s hands, something that had felt so natural, but now he realized he might have overstepped.

River: I will keep you and the animals safe, that I promise you. I know you won’t hurt me! -he reassured him- Shelter? 

The look River gave him made him smile through all of the turmoil he was actually still feeling. He wouldn't hurt them, he would run away if it ever came to something like it, that much he knew. He was needed at the shelter, as much as he needed to go there, this house was not helping, it was just a reminder. 

Lucas: Shelter.. -he wrapped his arms around River, not sure he would be able to walk.- would you mind carrying.. I think walking is not quite a thing I'm able to do yet.. 

The blue glow faded some, it was still there, but not as deep in color or intensity. Maybe he could ask Vy about his hands, if he was there.. or perhaps River would know how to ask him or Emil.. he had to learn how to control this, he could only imagine it was his dragon side that was showing.

If there's anything political about the show, Hamilton, its' thesis is - everything good or bad that was present at the founding, at the roots of the birth of this country, are still present. The fights we had then are the fights we are having now. Conversations we're having about systemic racism and abuse and police brutality, and about revolution - those are all still present. I'm gratified and humbled when I see lyrics from the show at Black Lives Matter protests. But because we are dealing with the origins of this country, and how it's based on ideals that we fell short of the moment we wrote them down, I'm well aware that every single one of these characters, even though they sing songs you love, are complicit in the original sin of slavery. These legacies are still being felt, to this day.
