It wasn’t entirely that he hadn’t noticed the plant--- which, judging by scent was not real--- it was more that the chimera hadn’t spared it much of a thought. Why should he? He doubted anyone would want or try to kiss him, tradition or not. And then he was proven wrong. That took him a moment to process. A long moment, really. He didn’t process until it was over with already, leaving him staring at Liam in obvious confusion. “---What?”
