Tadako wished she had something more substantial to offer Seiichi, but there wasn't much in the orphanage for her to work with. Still, she managed to somehow scrap together a rag doll similar to the looks of Kyoko by sewing together discarded toy parts; and she handed this to him wordlessly for his birthday; head tilting with a slight smile.
Seiichi accepts the plushie into his hands, taking a moment to just stare at it. But not out of displeasure: rather, curiosity. Despite the appearance, Seiichi could tell it was supposed to be Kyoko. And maybe it didn’t seem like it, but whenever someone took the time and effort to make him a gift, no what it was or how it looked… it really meant a lot to him, so the appearance barely mattered to him.
“You… made this for me? O-Oh man, I hope it wasn’t too much trouble!” Hugging it to his chest, he gives her a bright smile. “Th-Thank you so much, Tadako! I’ll make sure to take great care of it!”
