*le gasp* Police officer mc! How would our gangster Sans deal with the situation if the reader was apart of the law?
Oh dear… Reader would be much more unfortunate than as she is now, Sans would be more tempted to be more sadistic with her…
Officer reader would still have the same personality, quite easily intimidated and is small physically. She’s at the lower ranks of the police, maybe a bit of a patroller… The difference is that since reader is in the law and part of the police force… She’d know at least some… inside information. She knows about the criminal groups, the territories, where she should act and where she’s not allowed to do anything… She hates it. While not everyone in the force is corrupted, corruption is definitely in play, and they are very cooperative with the gangs that have deals with them. Thankfully for her, her little team is much more honest… But they can’t do much but follow what they’re told to.
Reader would know about Sans and his gang too, being one of the more powerful groups in the city, a dominating force in Redroad especially, one of the worst areas in the city… She’s definitely not happy when her rotations means she’ll have to be there a couple of times. When she sees Sans commit the deed however, she was off duty, maybe after finishing up her job… When she spots Sans, from the Skeleton family… She knows that’s a bad sign. She wasn’t even wearing her uniform at the time… He’d think she was a random passerby… She fled just as upset and horrified as she was in the fic… She may be an officer that’s heard about reports and the cases around the city, including the ones that they’re not allowed to put in public… But she never wanted to see it happen right before of her eyes.
Now when Sans finds her, follows her… Imagine his delighted surprise that the little human woman that saw him was a cute lil’ officer. He knows that her team is around Redroad and she’s probably been told about him… Yet just… How silent she is, her little murmurs to the other officers that ‘something happened’ without really saying it, how she just continues her job doing what she can while she can’t do anything about him despite being part of the law… corrupted law… He wants to play with her. She can’t do anything while being so close to being able to… he can’t help but put himself in front of her, taunting her how she can’t touch him… While he can… Possibly starting a little game of ‘tag’… Visiting her station and teasing her, scratching under her chin while holding her arm just a little too hard just to disappear as soon as someone else was going to come see her.
Until Sans can’t help it. She’s just so adorable for an officer… Polite, sweet, and… He doesn’t like seeing her in the police force. They can be such assholes… And being an officer means she’s much more vulnerable to get exposed to violence and have a higher chance of getting killed… Now he can’t have that.
