-Michael is a borrower, making him about the size of a human palm when fully grown and they're never supposed to reveal themselves to humans

-unfortunately while Michael's moms are too busy to watch him the five year old borrower wanders into the house they live in where he meets five year old, human, Jeremy

-his moms immediately panic worried about their son being found but the five year old promises not to tell anyone and they reluctantly have to trust him as they are unable to move

-so Jeremy and Michael grow up together, Michael going to school with Jeremy via his best friend's pocket

-when they were little Jeremy used to play action figures with Michael, Michael's moms sewing thresher a Superman costume for him when they did this

-Michael unintentionally squeaks, a lot. When he was twelve and started going through puberty it was especially bad

-Jeremy goes to 7/11 where he buys slushies for Michael to literally jump into

-Jeremy's almost glad his dad doesn't pay a lot of attention to him because if he did he probably would've found out about Michael a long time ago

-his dad thinks he doesn't have any friends since the only one he does have he can't tell his dad about

-they still play videogames together, Michael learning how to press the buttons by practically dancing on the controller

-Jeremy doesn't say anything but he thinks it's adorable

-Michael has also learned to eat his body weight on sushi much to the chagrin of his parents

-Jeremy and Michael both have a crush on each other that they won't tell each other about because they don't know how they would even date with the size difference

-that doesn't stop Michael from hopelessly pining over his tall friend

Bonus: Through a lot of struggle and with some help from his grandma Jeremy is the one who made Michael his favorite red hoodie
