It only took a few seconds. It was all it would take. Perceptive the blonde was, how everything was silent, not even music that he so loved to hear. He could hear some form of muttering as he came into her room.. and there was Kanaria, sitting right there.
Her hands... looking like they were shaking. That's already a bad sign. As he got closer, her eyes.. red. Another bad sign. Some worry that she might drop her beverage, as she would later mention, but his presence was soon known...
...Clearly from her answer... she tried to downplay something.
Shaking hands, red eyes, possible talking to oneself, maybe in another world? No, this was more than just... fatigue. He couldn't let it go just like that. It wouldn't be right of him, no, he cared for her too much.
He would move to sit on the bed, next to her. If he could, he'd wrap an arm around her and hold her close, leaning in to kiss her cheek. "It's okay... I can... see something's going on." He spoke softly, though the look of concern evident on his face. "I'm here for you, always." A small pause, just to breathe in and out. "I love you."
