★ CW!! sexual content, kinda gory though I try not to go into detail, blasphemy I think, Langdon is a pathetic FREAK
To that one person who especially wanted this <3
✝✝✝
Priest!Langdon who's ashamed of how bored he's become of the same rotation of penitents in the confessional booth, who struggles to stay focused whenever someone comes in to admit their sexual desires or to admit their thoughts about the people in their life. He's heard it all and all of it was becoming monotonous. Everyone had the same kind of sins and felt the same way about them, using him and the church itself to act as a free outlet.
Priest!Langdon who only knows you by your voice, how careless you are when you admit to wanting to kill a person. You don't specify either. A person is the only hypothetical outlet. At first, he thinks you're just admitting to an extreme form of irritation before you go into the horrid details of what you want to do. "I want to split someone's chest open and watch their guts pour out" evokes a feeling in his stomach he's not familiar with. And when you leave he runs to call the police.
Priest!Langdon stares at the phone for half an hour, recalling your tone of voice and the unique confession you had and how it didn't feel like you were using him and the church as an outlet but a journal. And he wanted to be filled with your unnatural thoughts.
Priest!Langdon anticipates your next visit, spending his days consumed with when he'll hear your careless empty voice next. Days turn into weeks and weeks become three months. Those three months made that day feel like a fever dream until an unfamiliar face walked straight to the confessional booth, an unfamiliarity that made his heart race. And when he heard you speak he knew it was you.
Priest!Langdon who asks questions this time, things like "how long have you felt like this?" and "what do you try to do about it?" When he asks "do you think about anything else?" he is caught off guard when you admit to having hypersexual desires. His heart races when you mention domination and submission, biting and slapping, suffocation and knives and the taste of blood. The things you want clash and mix together and when you leave, Langdon is infected with the possibilities of your life outside of the booth.
Priest!Langdon who is reminded by too many things of you, of your killer wants and sexual needs. He cannot be too unfocused in the kitchen without imagining you with a knife in your hand, standing above a poor person on the receiving end of your murderous desires. Simultaneously he could not be in church or indulge in the Bible without thinking of you. At the mention of the blood of Christ, he can only fantasize about your tongue against his neck, lapping up dribbles of blood.
Priest!Langdon who is far too into hearing about the person you killed two months after your last talk. He has no fear, no disgust towards your carelessness about human life, simply intrigue. He liked when you went on as you explained why you did it, who you did it to, the steps you followed. When he asks about the possibility of you being caught, you say, "will you come and listen to me talk in prison?" and excitement bounces around inside of him like never before.
Priest!Langdon who can't stop unconsciously rubbing his bulge against any hard enough surface at the mere thought of you and your desires, is unable to sleep properly because he's fighting the urge to roll onto his stomach and rub against the mattress. And one night, when your lack of presence consumes any proper thought, he finds himself tearing away his bedsheets and ripping a hole in his mattress.
Priest!Langdon who is miserable without your voice, miserable because he cannot be that journal for you in the moment, so he buries his dick into the tight new hole in his mattress, going down to the base. He ruts into it like a senseless dog in heat, stuffing his face in a pillow like that would weaken his moans and groans of the wretched pleasure from the all-knowing God he prayed to every night. It is nothing like what he knew you would be and yet if this was all he could have, with the guarantee of your voice in his life every now and then, it was nothing short of heaven.
And when Priest!Langdon sees your face during a Sunday Mass one day, gets you alone for your confessional, and looks inside the once occupied booth, he is overcome with excitement and shame and lust at the jacket you accidentally (?) left on the floor. He knows it is draped in your unholy scent and he cannot resist stuffing his nose against the fabric late at night, roughly fucking into that pathetic disgusting hole in his mattress, and putting the cloth in between his teeth to muffle his ungodly whines.
And after every time he finishes, drool falling from his wet lips and cum coating his dick, he mutters a pathetic prayer as he returns from his high.
⦻ He's possessive af, he hates seeing you with other proxies, he wants that attention. Your attention. So he will walk up and wrap his arm around your shoulder and pull you close, or annoy you until you pay attention to him.
⦻ Play with his hair, he LOVES it, doesn't matter if it's just messing it up or brushing it, he still loves it (his hair is greasy af so be warned)
⦻ Not much of a PDI type of guy, but if you want he'll do small things, like interlocking pinkies or let you hold onto his arm, play with his hair a bit, small stuff.
⦻ Likes going on missions with you, makes him feel comfortable, doesn't mind sharing kills either, but don't take too many, murder is his outlet after all!
⦻ Likes cuddling with you in private, pampering and praising you while holding you close.
⦻ When he has sudden memories of the fire, he will look for you, he feels panicked and having you near calms his nerves, even if he'll never admit it.
⚠️ ⦻ If you SH and he finds you he will patch you up, no questions, just silently helping you, if you want to talk about it he'll listen and hold you close to him. Seeing you bleed makes him fear losing you.
⦻ If you let him, he will do your makeup, his emo ass absolutely knows how to at least do a half-assed smokey eye and he's definitely willing to use you as a test dummy for his makeup, no bright colors though, this guy is allergic to bright makeup.
⦻ He loves kissing your stomach, no matter the size, this man LOVES kissing it and he will randomly lay his head on your lap, and if you pet his head? This man melts.
⦻ This man loves praise, he's a touch starved man with trauma, so any (in private) contact or praise will have him in a good mood, though he won't let his grumpy ass show it.
I am so excited you’re back to TRT Pasta!!!! I am so hyped to read it. I was wondering if you’d be willing to write a short recap of what’s happening and where the characters are. I have awful memory and I can’t remember anything other than she’s been injured for a few years and I was super confused when I saw cap in that gif. Thank you so much and welcome back! I’m glad you’re doing well enough to return to this fic 😸😸😸
I CAN ABSOLUTELY DO THIS MY FRIEND.
For anyone else, SPOILERS AHEAD FOR TRT.
Ok so last we left off
(this is me as I prepare to describe this to you)
Jane, still recovering from her Trauma Boar: Party of One attack, is doing her best between work and recovery to track down Anthony, her old handler. SHIELD has said they believe Anthony has been hidden in the city by his brother Derek, a seemingly kind and well loved plant owning man in Queens who has also gone missing and who she definitely has not met before. In order to find him, she's kidnapped borrowed an orchid he cared about quite dearly. She was assisted in this by THE GREAT SPIDER-MAN who she found out is, wait oh my god that's a teenager, NO DON'T TELL ME YOUR NAME too late, oh lovely now he wants to team up with her and Daredevil, SUPERHERO TEAM-UP. Anyway, the hope is that if she can get to Anthony, Anthony will be able to reveal the Uber Top Secret Military Donor/Funder behind Cyrus James and Project Beagle - the only major donor left after the Hand the pesky Yakuza! That's Good News! Because if you remove the military benefactor, our White Coated asshole loses a MASSIVE amount of funding and will be down to bare bones operations.
The bad news is Jane also REALLY WANTS TO KILL HIM and is worried she might do so if someone like Matt isn't there to stop her blowing Anthony's brains out and then steamrolling the remains with a hotwired bulldozer. But she had a growth moment and (shocker, wait for it) ACTUALLY. TOLD MATT. THAT SHE WAS HUNTING ANTHONY AND IS WORRIED SHE WILL HIM. This was prompted by, of all people, Elektra, who's being really squirrely about something and both prodded at Matt and Jane in a bad way (though Matt and Jane withstood this test) and also warned Jane subtly that Stick was going to do something before she left. So weird.
why does jane have that suspicious feeling she forgot something that might be used to hurt her and matt's relationship oh well i'm sure she told matt everything
Meanwhile Matt is trying to stop the Hand the Yakuza, prevent Elektra from murdering any more people, AND they have also just started Frank's trial (upside is, hey! No Dogs of Hell to speak bad about Frank!). So he is very very busy, though he has promised Jane that he'll come help her Not Commit Violent Acts Of Murder when she finds Anthony, though she is allowed to do everything short of that if she so pleases. This will definitely work out exactly as planned.
But I'm sure everything is fine! Jane has the SUPER MAX EMBASSY DOORS built that require 2 of 3 opening methods to open, the windows have both security alarms and have a bunch of pennies pushed into the jams that will fall out and alert if someone breaks in, AND the windows have window clings to make it hard to see.
In other news, Karen is continuing to troll Matt and Foggy because it's pretty clear she's figured out Matt is Daredevil and now she does know Matt's enhanced, and Captain America is out here looking for some dude with a silly name idk who he is but sure seems to really care about that guy.
Oh and Claire put a No Sex rule on our penguins for two weeks so Jane's concussion can heal. This is not particularly plot relevant, but it's funny to me because they're very stressed and at present do not have sex as an outlet. They are understandably grumpy about it, because this has prevented their normal habit of fucking like rabbits and slowing down my gd plot yes i put a chastity belt on them but there's a lot we have to get to, don't worry, when they blow up it'll be great
can't stop thinking about that line "some people are born to be monsters. some jobs only a monster can do" billiken says like this bitch took nishitani in as a small nefarious child and raised him to be a full-grown yakuza thinking the entire time nishitani was born a monster and that was all he could ever be like when teenage nishitani murdered somebody for him (b/c he loved his uncle, saw him hurting, and thought avenging his daughter by killing her murderer was the only way to make him happy) his response was to build him an entire fucking fight club where he could kill other criminals not. maybe I should teach this kid there are other ways to show your love/loyalty that don't involve murder b/c clearly nishitani never learned that, given he tries to win majima over by murdering someone majima couldn't bring himself to kill for him in a way that very neatly parallels what he did for uncle b
it just fucks me up that nishitani didn't have to become a murderer! he was just a troubled kid who needed direction! uncle b rewarding him for doing a murder as a kid b/c he feels fatalistic about his early criminal tendencies and then encouraging him to do even more murders makes me insane. I think uncle b's belief that violence is okay so long as you only hurt people who deserve to be hurt influenced majima a lot too. so much of his arc in yakuza 0 is learning to accept his latent violence / sadomasochism given how miserable repressing it makes him. he tries to be a good, law-abiding civilian but can't change the fact he's yakuza to the core. the only thing that brings him joy is fighting and he needs the yakuza to have a safe outlet for that violence.
nishitani is loud as fuck about his sadomasochism. he's open and blunt in a way majima likes people to be open and blunt. majima's profile in the 15th anniversary book says "nishitani could sense a hidden part of majima that was the same as himself" and during their fight majima "remembered what kind of person he was." they both see each other as mirrors. maybe b/c they're both unhinged sadomasochists who find strength attractive. maybe b/c they're both living weapons who put all their self-worth into being good guard dogs, attacking anyone who threatens the people they need. who can say. what is clear is majima wants to emulate nishitani's freedom so he isn't left choking on his own guilt. see: pirate yakuza when majima goes ham wailing on a guy and has the revelation he's maybe not a good person b/c he enjoys it too much. even with amnesia, both the desire for violence and guilt persist.
nishitani's made peace with his "monstrosity." he murders a random girl and disfigures her face beyond recognition no problem. but he's not a complete monster. he loves his uncle. his men respect him and he respects boundaries. he'll take "no" for an answer. he lets majima turn down his offer to join the kijin and offers to help him anyway. he never forces majima to do anything he doesn't want to, even fighting him on majima's terms. shimano and sagawa, meanwhile, love telling majima what to do. you can't tell those guys "no" and live. nishitani wants majima to break free from his chain. maybe that's why he puts himself b/w majima and a gun-wielding cop and uses his last words to give him a motivational speech. the version of himself he sees in majima is miserable and self-loathing and he doesn't want majima to live the rest of his life that way when he could be happy.
I think both nishitani and billiken's words help shape majima's mad dog persona. y0 majima wants to live more freely, like nishitani, without fear or shame. pretending to be this wild card psycho killer helps him do that. we know he's not a killer, but if he convinces other yakuza he's a killer, he knows they won't fuck with him or his family. he can stay with the yakuza and keep doing "jobs only a monster can do." he can stick to his strict code of only hurting people he thinks "deserve" to be hurt (other criminals) or who can take all the pain he doles out and give as good as they get (kiryu, saejima). at the end of the day, if you strip everything away from him, even his memory, he's just a mad dog who wants to keep fighting until he dies. nishitani understood that. he felt the same way.
Inspired by @hiemaldesirae's deer sinner Vox designs (1 | 2 | 3) and his Attic-Wife Vox AU
TW for graphic violence, mild gore, murder, cannibalism, agoraphobia, and other canon-typical triggers.
Alastor trusts him. Vox realizes this with a thrill. He actually trusts him.
For the past 3 weeks, Alastor had begun leaving Vox's door unlocked during the day, with explicit instructions that Vox was not to leave the house unless an emergency arose ("Go to Cannibal Town. Find anyone and tell them Alastor told you to go to Rosie and they'll help you") and to stay away from the basement ("There's nothing down there you need to trouble yourself with, darling"). They still took their meals in Vox's room and he was locked in at night, but otherwise he was free to move about his new home to his heart's content.
This new freedom had made the blue deer anxious at the start and he'd refused to leave his room for the entire first week, despite Alastor's reassurances. Some gentle coaxing had seen him to the top of the stairs to greet Alastor upon his return home, but he'd struggled to make it any further.
Today, however, he stands in the kitchen, clutching a steaming mug in his hands. He made his own coffee today! Alastor will be so proud! The nausea in his stomach won't actually allow him to drink said coffee, but he still made it all the way to the kitchen by himself! And if all goes as planned and he can withstand the anxiety, he'll be able to greet Alastor at the door this time! He's wearing one of his favorite dresses. He wants to look nice for him. It'll be a special surprise.
He wants to flee back to his room desperately, but decides to do the dishes instead, to keep his hands and mind busy. He has no idea where anything goes, so he just leaves them to dry when he's finished and ends up wiping down the table and counters. He wanders into the living room next, coffee forgotten, and begins to straighten the pillows on the couch. They're not really all that messy to begin with as Alastor keeps his home very tidy, but it gives him an outlet for all the nervous energy he feels. He goes in search of a broom. He used to help his mother sweep all the time as a child and it always made him happy to help her. He wants to help Alastor too. He searches a couple closets, frowning as he comes up empty. There is one door left in the hallway. One with a sturdy lock on it. No, not that one. That one is the basement. He is not allowed in the basement. He begins to walk away before doubling back, wide-eyed.
Something is...leaking out from under the door.
His heartrate spikes. What is that?! He watches in terror as a thin green tendril slithers up the door, deftly undoing the lock and letting it fall to the floor with a heavy thunk. Vox holds his breath as the door slowly - so agonizingly slowly, creaks open. The tendril retreats and a greenish ooze pulls itself into the hallway, rising and taking on humanoid shape until another Sinner stands before him. Snake-like yellow eyes dart around the hall, wild and unfocused until they land on Vox.
"Huh? Who the fuck are you?"
Vox can't find his voice. He hasn't seen another Sinner, hasn't interacted with anyone, since Alastor came into his life. Who is this man? Why is he in their home? A forked tongue flickers out of the lipless mouth as it twists into a sneer.
"Well, who'da thought the infamous Radio Demon would be hiding such a pretty little thing away?" The Sinner takes a step forward. "Fucking bastard tried to take a taste ah me...I should make him regret it..."
Vox doesn't have time to consider his words before the Sinner lunges at him. The blue deer barely manages to duck out of the way, tripping over his own feet and falling to the ground. A hand curls around his ankle and he shrieks, a sharp burst of electricity exploding from the site of contact. The Sinner curses and lurches back.
An emergency. Alastor said he can leave if there's an emergency. But the Sinner is between him and the door now. He can't get out, can't even get to the stairs to run for the safety and comfort of his room.
Vox's eyes land on the open door of the basement. He bolts. He doesn't quite manage to get the door closed before the Sinner grabs it, wrenching it out of the blue deer's grasp and causing him to lose his balance. He tumbles down the stairs and hits the cement floor below hard. Pain erupts in his shoulder and he wails. It's dark, he can't see, and the Sinner is on him before he can get his bearings.
Vox pushes at the hands that grab at him, closing around his throat in an iron grip. The Sinner's eyes are bloodshot and manic. "Gonna leave your corpse for him to find." Vox feels around the floor, desperately search for something, anything. "Maybe I should cut up that pretty face of yours too." His hand closes around smooth wood. "Make you ugly and force him to stare at it while you regenerate." There's a flash of recognition. "Maybe he won't even want you anymore..." He swings.
The flesh of the Sinner's throat makes a loud squelching sound as the ax makes itself at home deep in the side of his neck and the Sinner's hands go slack as he goes down with a gurgle, collapsing onto his back and grasping weakly at the thick blade of the ax. The blue deer takes a desperate breath, greedily sucking in air as he scrambles up and grabs the ax again, brings it down again and again and again even after the Sinner has stopped moving. He finally stops when he feels the sharp burn in his arms and he nearly loses his grip, embedding the ax so deep in the Sinner's skull that's he's almost certain it's caught in the concrete below. He isn't sure how long he sits there, the corpse cooling on below him. His breathing is heavy. He feels floaty and lightheaded. There is blood and viscera everywhere.
Oh, he's ruined his dress.
The thought encourages him to move, shoving the Sinner's corpse away from him. Instead of standing, however, he simply sits in the darkness, hands folded primly in his lap as he thinks.
From the beginning, Vox could only remember bits and pieces of his life above; the fear of his father, the hyperawareness of his appearance, societal expectations and the like. Alastor had told him that it was perfectly normal for Sinners to struggle with memory loss during the first few months of their Hellish existence. Usually it was resolved within a few months or so, but for some it took years, even decades to right itself. On especially rare occasions, some Sinners didn't regain their memories at all. Typically though, one good metaphorical jostle to the noggin - a reminder, a trigger - was all it took to bring everything back.
Vox couldn't say he ever expected his to be driving an ax into a man's skull.
He staggers to stand, fumbling in the dark. The sliver of light coming in from the top of the stairs leads him to the wall and the light switch there. He turns it on.
Oh.
There are weapons everywhere. Mounted on walls, laid across tables, even several in the nearby sink, covered in what Vox can only assume is blood. There is another door on the opposite end of the small room, open and with a lock on the floor much like the basement door upstairs. It is dark, but Vox is certain he can hear moaning and crying coming from inside.
He doesn't enter. He isn't even supposed to be down here. Instead, he tries to pull the ax free, but it remains wedged in the Sinner's skull. His adrenaline is fading fast and his muscles tremble with exertion.
Vox takes a deep breath. His heart is still racing. What should he do now?
"Oh my."
The blue deer whips around towards the stairs, blood running cold as he meets Alastor's mildly startled gaze. Red eyes drift around the room as the other deer takes in the chaotic scene. Vox is suddenly very aware of how much blood there is and just how much of it is on him. Alastor descends the stairs slowly. "What happened, darling?"
And all at once everything is too much and Vox drops to his knees and begins to cry. He's babbling, unsure if he's even making any sense, but he can't pull himself together. The adrenaline has left him tired and achy and everything is just too much. He isn't sure when Alastor reaches him or when he takes him in his arms. All he knows is that when his sobs finally die to weak sniffles, he is fully in the Radio Demon's lap and the very thought makes his face burn.
"Goodness. You've had quite the day, haven't you?"
Vox nods into Alastor's chest. There's a gentle hum of static radiating from the red deer and it soothes him. Alastor pets his hair and ears, shivers running up Vox's spine when his gentle fingers brush against his antenna. Those same fingers trail down his jaw and tip up his chin and then Alastor is kissing him. It's soft and tender and Vox eagerly returns it. They only break apart when the Radio Demon picks him up in his arms and begins to carry him upstairs. Behind them, Alastor's dolls have already begun to drag the Sinner's corpse back towards the other room.
"Why don't we get you a nice bath and a change of clothes, hm?" Alastor says. "I'm sure you'll feel much better after that."
Vox looks up at him, confused. "You're not mad?"
"At you?" Alastor asks. "Of course not, darling."
"But...I went in the basement."
"It doesn't sound to me like you had much choice. And you did quite marvelously with that ax."
Vox knows he's blushing. "I'm sorry...I got my dress messy." He feels bad for ruining Alastor's gift. He liked this one a lot too.
Alastor laughs. "My dear, I wouldn't be any good at this if I didn't know how to get a little blood out." They've reached his room now and have made their way into the bathroom. Alastor sits him on the closed toilet as he begins to draw the bath. "I'll go get dinner started while you get cleaned up. Just put your dress in the hall and I'll take care of it."
The water is warm and it feels so good on his aching muscles and it's nearly an hour later before he finds his wounds tended to and himself dressed in his coziest nightgown and robe and seated at the table with Alastor.
"I remember some of my life now." He says it casually, without any preamble.
Alastor regards him with interest. "Oh? Do tell."
Vox stirs his food. "I killed my parents. I put sleeping pills in their drinks so they wouldn't wake up. And then I killed them with an ax in their own bed. My mom was a fading star who wanted to live vicariously through me and forced me to do all these auditions. I was actually pretty good though, so I got a lot of jobs. But it was never enough. My dad thought it was sissy work." He pulled at his nightgown. "He'd have a fit if he saw me now."
Alastor hums. "They both sound quite awful indeed. No wonder you dispatched them."
Vox nods. Some things are still fuzzy, but he has a good grasp on what his life was like now. It makes him feel more grounded. More sure of himself.
"What do you do with them?" Vox asks.
"Hm?"
"The people in the basement. What do you do with them?"
"Oh, why I eat them, my dear."
Vox feels like this should shock him more. Like...it really should shock him more. Like he's more shocked by how un-shocked he is by it. The man he's been living with for several months has just told him he eats people. The man who quite literally owns his soul and could do whatever he pleases with him has just told him he eats people. Well, it is Hell after all. He glances down at his own food, drawing a snicker from the red deer.
"No, darling, I don't feed them to you."
"Why not?"
Now Alastor actually does look shocked and Vox can't help but feel a little swell of pride at having drawn such a reaction from him.
"Would you like me to?"
Vox considers. "Maybe? I'm not sure. I've never eaten a person before, but you like it, so..."
Alastor doesn't say anything. Instead, he calmly spears a chunk of meat on his fork, stands, and circles around to Vox.
"Open."
Vox does without hesitation.
It's not...bad. It's not bad at all, actually. Vox chews and swallows. "Wow. You're such a good cook you can even make people taste good."
Alastor laughs. He kisses him again. Vox will definitely eat more people if it gets him more kisses.
"So..." he begins to ask when Alastor returns to his seat. "What are you going to do with that guy? Are you going to eat him too?"
Alastor shook his head. "That was the original plan, yes, but now I think I'll be making him a surprise guest on my radio show." Vox tipped his head in confusion. "Ah, I forget you haven't actually heard my show yet. I'll get you a proper radio. I'd love for you to listen, my dear. Now, tell me, did anything else happen on your eventful day?"
hey uuuh im procrastinating on other things so let's write a big ol' essay about
Eclipse 3.1, and Why Moon Is Doing a Disservice By Writing Him Off As "Insane*"
*insane in this context being the definition of 'acting erratic and unpredictable with no regard to consequences' and not an actual mental illness diagnosis, I know, I wish they'd pick a different word too, but this is an essay about Eclipse's behavior, not linguistics
So! If you've only been sorta keeping up with SAMS, the current plot is someone (we still don't know who) revived everyone's favorite dusty Dorito that had been forgotten under the couch, slapped him on the ass, and pointed him at the Daycare. This has made a lot of people (in universe) very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move, even by Eclipse.
Especially by Eclipse.
Our buddy boy has magic (dunno how), incomplete memories of both the original Eclipse and the backup (no clue how he got those), and directives embedded in his code that can't be removed without killing him (¯\_(ツ)_/¯). He literally woke up in the hallway outside the Daycare and then went inside and started monologuing.
Eclipse wants to find the person who brought him back, maybe or maybe not ask some questions, and then kill them.
He reeeeeally wants to kill them.
(This whole arc honestly boils down to Eclipse grabbing various folks and shaking them while screaming "ARE YOU MY MOMMY?!")
In recent eps Moon has accused him of going 'insane', mostly due to his insistence on picking fights and threatening others, and that he cannot shut up about wanting to get the guy that made him. He very recently picked a fight with Lunar, who killed him again-- and proved at the moment he can't be killed permanently, he'll just come back in a new body.
Huh.. fighting a programmed compulsion, becoming more erratic and aggressive over time, breakdown of logic and reasoning... That seems kind of familiar...
Oh yeah! This is Eclipse's kill code. I'm calling it the 'bother code', but 'cringecode' and 'pain-in-the-ass code' aren't off the table. Unlike Moon's kill code, the expression seems to be 'be a distraction to Moon' rather than like, outright murdering people.
Like the kill code, fighting the compulsion seems to make his behavior more unstable. Because here's the thing: Eclipse isn't stupid.
Well.
Okay, Eclipse is stupid, but not... like this.
Eclipse is a manipulator. His thing has always been to recruit others to help him achieve his goal, and he's patient about it. He's willing to work for months on someone, and while he does shoot himself in the foot eventually, it's usually more indirectly than this. Moon is currently helping him search for the guy, it makes no sense for Eclipse to continue posturing and threatening.
Except-- that's his only outlet right now.
The "I need to find the guy who made me"? That's Eclipse's goal, the one he's pursing with all the stubbornness he has.
The "hey what if I killed or maimed some of your family"? That's the directives.
What we're seeing with Eclipse's behavior is him desperately trying to keep himself on track, when the bother code is trying to yank him in another direction. Threatening Moon so he'll 'work faster' is an outlet, a way for him to briefly pacify the code while redirecting it back into his own goal. He knows it's a stupid suggestion, but he's going to make it anyway because he has no choice.
I think he feels like he's running out of time as well. Because Eclipse can be patient, but he gets frustrated and short tempered the closer he gets to a deadline (this is why I believe he started being meaner to Lunar-- he was frustrated about not finding the star and had given himself only a month to do it).
So like.. yeah. I don't think he's going 'insane' or 'losing his mind'. I think he's fighting a losing battle against his own programming, and taking the frustration and panic out on everyone else. Because the kill code couldn't be fought off indefinitely, eventually the bot would crack under it. And it'd be nice if Moon could acknowledge that Eclipse's behavior isn't entirely voluntary, and he IS I think honestly doing his best-- he outright came to them for help, something he's never done before.
Idk maybe they need to let Eclipse put Moon in a stupid trap again for an ep to get it out of his system so he can chill out for a while.
A sidenote! Its interesting to me that Eclipse's behavior in the coming back ep seemed to be erratic only as long as Moon was present. Once Moon left, Eclipse changed gears in how he was talking to Solar, and had some very classic "you know you're better than this, don't you want to go apeshit?" lines. The kind of thing that we've seen from the previous Eclipse incarnations. Dunno yet if it means anything, but it's interesting!

Though she's an expert at dancing the fine line between what she wants and what her father expects from her, she's terrified to ever do anything that would make her lose him. No matter what they do to her, she always chooses her family over everything.
Samantha Cooper: Before she was a programmer, Cooper worked a variety of jobs to put herself through college. She lasted one day as an arcade attendant (you get hit with a lot of balls, and not in the fun way) and a couple years as a hostess at Famous Dave's ("Hi, welcome to Famous Dave's, this is Famous Cooper speaking). Her favorite was at a bakery, where she gave herself the job title of professional flour spiller, and she's still known for her vodka cupcakes at parties.
Theo Wolfram: In all verses (even the one where he's not a werewolf), Theo has a tattoo of a howling wolf on his ribs, a brother to Aven's floral she-wolf on the opposite side, both gotten in the first month they moved to New York City. They've been a pack of two since they were kids.
Tyler Dennison: Tyler has a round scar from a gunshot wound on his shoulder from a campus shooting. He was on the quad with some friends when the spray of bullets hit, and his best friend at the time nearly died. He'll joke that the most painful part of getting shot was his oppressively religious parents deciding to visit him in the hospital.
Erin Zimmerman: Erin is a hazard in the kitchen. If there's a knife, she'll find a way to cut herself or someone else. If there's heat, someone's going to get burned (maybe her, maybe you were just standing too close). She's accidentally taken out toasters and microwaves, and she caused a school-wide evacuation in her high school home ec. class for a fire that started in the oven. Ian's banished her from the kitchen for life except to get pre-packaged snacks and does all the cooking himself.
Dominik Carstens: Dom's first crush was on the dead girl haunting his backyard when he was four years old. At that age, he didn't realize she was dead, of course. He just knew she was his best friend and they had a lot of fun playing games together. It wasn't until he told his parents about how his "girlfriend" had been murdered and buried in the woods by a group of guys that they realized there was something more sinister going on with his imaginary friends, and it directly contributed to his institutionalization. He never saw her again after he got out.
Marlowe Hendrix: Marlowe's loved to roller skate since she was a kid. In addition to working as a car hop at a retro diner, she also plays roller derby (Lady Macdeath, at your service). She gravitated to the sport during her parents' divorce and found it a useful outlet for her aggression at the time, but eventually she grew to love it and thinks of her team like family.
Kian Donnelly: The Donnelly and Cavalleri siblings had a longstanding rivalry growing up. They were constantly scrapping in high school, trying to show each other up in competitions, or street racing to settle their differences. It was mostly a cold war until college, when Lincoln Cavalleri made a degrading comment about Kian's sister, Fallon, and Kian snapped and broke his nose. If nothing else, Lincoln learned not to talk shit in front of him.
Lincoln Cavalleri: His nose healed just fine, thank you very much. So violent, that family.

If you mean wearing jewelry, then it's gold. Dylann feels like it matches his skin tone better than silver since he has a warm skin tone. Still, he doesn't wear much jewelry, except for a ring now and then and maybe a necklace (most likely a cross, if he's feeling particularly guilty that day). He is particular about not mixing specific fabric colors when dressing himself, so that would also extend to jewelry. If you're speaking in general, it's silver because he has a lot of decoration that tends to be that color, since he feels it matches his house's ambiance better. It tends to have silver picture frames and the occasional cross or crucifix on the wall. For gemstones, he'd go for garnet cause it reminds him of blood without all the mess. The second runner-up is any lighter blue gems (the darkest would be Benitoite, and the lightest would be aquamarine) cause they remind him of Twiggy's eyes.
There isn't that much in common with me. I created Him as a boogeyman-type character at first. Then Dylann just spiraled into being this outlet for rejected fictional slasher headcanons I thought were too out of character, a mixture of traits of real cases I've studied, along with shitty people I had to deal with throughout life. Though if I had to say, I guess we do have some OCD tendencies in common. We have a fascination with vampire media since I've been into vampire mythology since I was a kid. It's pretty self-explanatory on how we're different from each other, too, since he is an amalgamation of traits I find interesting to study. If I ever met him, I'd invite him for a walk in the woods and push him down an abandoned well hole if given the chance.
Fire. Definitely Fire. It's dangerous and unpredictable if given the right opportunity. Still, it can also be warm and inviting at any other time. Most of the time, Dylann can be pretty charming but awkward, but most people brush it off as a socially awkward man who means well because he's soft-spoken and gentle. Besides this, though, he hides his urges and issues behind closed doors, but God forbid you look anything like Twiggy. He'll turn your life into a personal hell because his obsession burns strong for her. He's kind of like an oil fire, too; the more you try to put him out with water – in this case, logic and resistance – he won't go out and only becomes more deadly with each passing second and leaves anyone with permanent scars if they manage to escape.
He loves receiving gifts, but he's a giver in his own twisted ways. One of his less sinister cases of gift giving would be buying Priscilla a My Little Pony she kept eyeing at his work. He doesn't understand why she is interested in these brightly packaged horses, but whatever makes her happy and lets her guard down around him more. I don't know if this would count as a gift, but since he does work with photography as a job, he has offered a few of his victims faux modeling jobs so he could figure out their schedule better to his liking. Besides that, much of his gift-giving is related to his obsession with wanting to remake Twiggy somehow. Shockingly, he has a lot of the makeup and perfume she wore pinned down despite not being into that stuff himself. He has to make sure he dolls his victims to look like his beloved Twiggy, or it won't be realistic. Going back to my previous post, he does make birthday cakes for Priscilla and his previous victims (that's if they even make it to Twiggy's birthdate while they're in captivity). He also goes out shopping now and then for his beloved reincarnate Twiggy, so they'll have something to wear; of course, the only requirements are styled to something similar she wore at one point and in her size. Sometimes, he has a meltdown and takes it out on his beloved "Twiggy." he ends up writing an apology love letter filled with crude doodles or clippings he cut out of a magazine about how truly sorry he is and how much he loves them. He also occasionally gives pictures he took with victims to them, but he's learned to stop doing this after a few adverse reactions, so if his so-called beloved wants to see them, they'll have to ask him. In Priscilla's case, I would like to mention it is possible to manipulate and play with his emotions to get something she wants, like new music to listen to. Now, what is his ideal gift? That's hard to say. I guess his most ideal one would be if Prisllica or any of his past victims woke up and said with 100% certainty they remember being Twiggy in some way and love him so much, but if that's too much to ask for a simple kiss or hug would do – even if he has to force it.
