Besides, who will look after me when I get old?’ ‘You’re old now.’ ‘And here was I being kind.’ I tuck the blanket over him. ‘Get to sleep and stop worrying about stupid things, eh?’ Kit obeys meekly enough, clearly at ease by my words. ‘Will you stay until I fall asleep?’ ‘Of course.’

one of my preschoolers is allowed to watch horror movies bc his family is wild and thinks he can as long as he knows it's fake but anyway he absolutely is obsessed with the new IT and the first half of the 1990 one. so today was one of the other kid's birthday and her cupcakes had plastic balloons in them. oden (the one who loves IT) got red and decided he was pennywise and started eating my arm saying "IM GONNA GET YOU ONE DAY" im fucking sobbing
