" Joseph... " Claude carefully opened the door and walks inside the room, before silently closing the door behind him. For a moment he stands there, looking at the ground, takes a deep breath, then he talks. " I'm... aware what day today is and... I... just wanted to let you know that I'm glad fate somehow brought us together... despite us having to part ways a long time ago in such a way... I'm really sorry for what happened back then, my dear brother. "
This was the day he always took to distance himself away from everyone else in the manor, no matter how close with some he may be. This was his day to mourn his late brother... or what had been his late brother.
Joseph sat in his room, the only light coming from the dimly lit fireplace, reflecting his state of being at that moment. He hardly stirred when he heard the door open, only muttering a gruff, “Get out,” before hearing who it was and what they wanted.
Hearing Claude’s voice so suddenly sent a chill down his spine, nearly forgetting that this sick and twisted game brought them back together. Fate was cruel and beautiful, all at once. But in the years they had been split apart, he had changed, much of his soul dying out alongside his dear twin and another part being trapped in a photo.
A deep, shaky breath was taken as the photographer willed himself to turn in his chair, to look at his angel of a brother. His eyes were redened, dark bags right below making his emotional plite evident.
“Why apologize for something that was not your fault? I should apologize for not being stronger, for not being able to save you...” All he had been was a helpless, useless child. And while he was glad to be with his brother again, he felt he was below Claude, a filthy damaged thing.

1) It is refreshing to find another Artemis Fowl fan.
2) *Gollum-like muttering* Nosty little mouseses making nosty little films making the Preciouses ruined....
