rewatching a movie that puts you in a mood™ and then going to bed like...
havent been talkative here :(
and i hope when you think of me years down the line you can't find one good thing to say & i’d hope that if i found the strength to walk out you’d stay the hell out of my way
uuuu okage...okage....i enter for the delightful flavor of evil guys and am surprised with my other favorite flavor: metatextual bullshit. here is my cool rpg it is a game about a guy making a small kingdom cut off from the rest of the world it inhabits and forcing all of the people in it to inhabit specific roles for the entertainment of his daughter. the people know the roles exist because a big list of their classifications is sent to their city halls on a regular basis. even if they're aware of the roles its nearly impossible to deviate from them unless you're treated like a real person. if no one speaks to you and you have no role in the story you functionally don't exist. you're a cut character. people can't see you unless they also don't exist. the rpg enemies won't even approach you. the only way to regain your personhood is to speak up for yourself. the world and the timeline alter themselves seamlessly to accommodate your presence or absence. there is the implication that this is not the first time a story has happened here. the ruined remains of the old stories are scattered around the new one. even after you ruin this one, the people in it choose to keep playing their roles because they like themselves as they are, and really, what else do they know how to be? at the edges of triste the ground repeats endlessly into the distance.
every day in flatline, i remember how GOOD clara was as the doctor because she’s picked up so many mannerisms from him that even he’s surprised when she plays him well -- but when she says something like “why can’t you just say i was good?” that sticks out to me so much
*sees a picture of li bowen* yknow what maybe i do like men
