Real Quick Voltron Headcannon
Remember how Lotor blew up one of the Galra bases? The one that was far out of the way? Well now that we have the possibility that the Shiro on the team could be a clone I started to think of something. What if Lotor DIDN'T know about Project Kuron? We're all assuming that he started this, but there is very good chance that he didn't know. He was in exile after all. And he probably found out at the last minute when "Shiro" had rejoined the team. The clone could have been created in the far off Galra base, so Lotor destroyed it to prevent any more clones from being made. Having said all this I now believe that Lotor, warrior of honor that he is, will spend part of season four(which is coming Friday October 13th by the way) trying to tell the Paladins that the Shiro with them is not their Shiro. And it's only when Project Kuron is triggered by whoever is pulling the strings here will everyone learn the hard truth. This will then bring about an unwanted but necessary alliance between both Galra and Paladins to stop the real threat. As for the real Shiro, I believe that the Black Lion transported him to the base of the rebellion and he is now with Matt. But these are all just my speculations.
