Idk but the most recent post of Miss Hui about monks' favorite oatmeals made me extremely happy. If anyone's wondering

I know one of the blogs I follow religiously thought of it before I did. only now I greatly crush in the concept, credits to them.
I headcanon that S8 Scully is constantly hot (body heat + hormones) while Mulder is perpetually cold (recovering from DEATH), so she keeps sneaking her extra layers and blankets onto him because if he catches her outright he'll swat her attempts away (reminiscent of her taking care of/adjusting his tie in Bad Blood.)
That is so cute, I love it! They're gonna have a moment of what's happening here cause she used to be the one who was always cold and he warmed her. Now Scully tries her best to do that for him. Whether that means putting blankets over him or cuddling him 🥰
What about an A/B/O au where Hotch is a surprisingly good cook. And no one knows it until he starts bringing Reid food when he begins to court him. He sees the junk Reid tries to pass off for a meal (usually take-out, or worse, straight from the vending machine) and decides that’s where he’ll start in his courtship of the omega, by bringing him home cooked food packaged in Tupperware containers that no one expected to actually be good (I imagine everyone just assumed the Hotchner men survived on quick and easy foods, like chicken strips or fish sticks). But the food smells and looks amazing and everyone (including Reid, who is all blushy but appreciative) is shocked. Hotch is maybe just a bit smug about it.
This is such a cute idea, OMG. Like, I love this so much???? Just- the whole concept is perfect for how I imagine courting customs to be. Because like, more than one Alpha can court an Omega at a time, and it's ultimately a "game" to prove how good of a mate you can be so the Omega would choose you over the others.
I had been struggling, personally, trying to figure out what it means to have an Alpha court via food (suggesting he can provide for his Omega), and this is literally perfect. Hotch not only proving that he's paying attention to Spencer's eating habits, being on top of him, and making sure he's getting a real meal at least once a day, but also proving that he's a wonderful provider. He can feed his mate (and future pups) good, healthy foods. It also proves he's a good father already, seeing as obviously he's taking great care to feed the pup he already has.
And Spencer is definitely shocked and pleasantly surprised. Blushing shyly for the first while that Hotch insists he takes the food, usually packaged as you said: in Tupperware containers. It's always "plated" nicely, a mix of vegetables and protein that Hotch already knows Spencer will eat (you can't be someone's boss of so many years, eating probably thousands of meals together while on cases or during celebrations at home, without noticing the eating habits of the one you've had your eye on this whole time).
(Also side note: no matter the AU I headcanon Spencer to be somewhat of a picky eater, and it's mostly due to texture. He struggles with trying new foods that even *look* weird or like they will have a strange texture, so that's one of the reasons he sticks with take-out and "safe" foods like Mac-and-cheese and ramen when he's home. This is often a trait of people with Autism, like me!).
Hotch courting Spencer with delicious homecooked meals while they're home is now my new favorite thing. This works so well for A/B/O, but it can work in any AU, tbh. <3
I headcannon that Ben will sometimes have a breakdown and when he does the smaller aliens, especially Ditto help calm him down. Whampire also goes to him in his smaller bat form to snuggle.
Basically it becomes a huge snuggle pile.
I crave Bucky and Tony sitting down and having a heart to heart. 🥺
I also wish that people spoke more of Bucky's and Howard's relationship. It was faint, but I think young Howard really genuinely cared for Bucky like he cared for Steve like he cared for the soliders. I think like Tony he genuinely was trying to protect the people he loved. He never forgot them.
I really wanna see more Howling Commandos with Steve, Bucky, Howard, and Peggy interactions! We know Howard talked about Steve all the time, and there's a reason for that, you know? They were friends. Bucky even looked up to the man! His face when he watched him at the Expo? I imagine Bucky meeting him for the first time and being like
"... Steve. Stevie. That's Howard Stark. Howard Stark is right there!"
"I know, Buck. He designed the shield."
"He designed the shield?!"
"And helped with the outfit."
"Sweet Jesus, you're keeping the outfit right?!"
He totally fangirled and you can take that headcanon outta my cold dead hands.
Like, I can't imagine how Bucky feels because Howard was a friend. Howard even recognized Bucky! But yeah, 1940s stuff? I love it. I want more of it.

His mother's not around. And there's no photo of his mother anywhere in the house. A man as loving as Nacho's father... that to me is a bit strange. I think it says there is something there. A man that respectful, if his wife died, there would be pictures of her, and there were no pictures of her, that means they're probably on very, very bad terms, and Nacho decided to stay with his father. So maybe as a teenager, the divorce between his parents caused him to feel that he needed to lift his father up. And by lifting his father up maybe he thought if I was to bring home shiny things, then me and my family will have value, and my mother would be proven wrong. I don't know if [Vince and Peter] will ever answer it, but that's the way I saw it. As a guy who probably looks more like his mother than his father and who thinks "I'm gonna make something out of me and we're gonna be shiny and powerful, and we're gonna show her that my father's kindness is not a weakness." So he starts hanging out with kids who he thought had everything going for them. [...] He loved his father so much that he wanted to protect his father from his mother, and by doing that he kind of became like his mother, tryna get shinies, trying to get the power and the shine and all that stuff.
