I lied there was more glitter stuck in my craw.

I like the idea of the fairy dust bottles being the Charmix item instead of the Enchantix item. Like, they collect the dust to get the Enchantix forms.

Also Dark Bloom is stronger than regular Bloom bc her Enchantix form basically got forced, so that's why it's a recolor of the incomplete Enchantix rather than the recolor base. Missed opportunity for them to not have a real incomplete Enchantix form just saying.

I have a question, you already did a list of transformations for fairies, do witches have those types of levels or not? And do male magic user have a list of transformations like different types of wizards? Last thing could you talk about Daphne's fairy circle, the nymphs of magix like who they were powers planet likes and dislikes and how they died. Ps Love your ideas

Despite appearance, the division of Fairies&Witches and Wizards is not a gender based one.

Though female Heroes are more commonly seen, male Fairies&Witches, as well as female Wizards do still occur.

The division between the two classes is based on the type of magical power they wield. Fairies&Witches come from the same Origin and wield Thematic magic which makes them incomparably strong in their native ‘elemental’ fields, Wizards possess a high level of magic comparable to that of Fairies&Witches but lack the attachment to a specific Aspect of reality that give Fairies&Witches their unique epithets (ie. Fairy of Music, Witch of Storms, etc.)

Further, Wizards are a type of Active magical.

While all people of the Magical Dimension have an inherent level of magic, Active magicals are those who spell cast as natural as breathing. When untrained, Active magicals are more likely to have outburst of power when under extreme emotion stress, unless their powers are being restrained by outside influences.

Between the level of 'Inherently magical’ and 'Actively magical’ lies the 'Intuitively magical’, those who have more than an inherent magic, but not enough to suffer magcial outbursts, they are comparable to Earth’s psychics, deeply intuitive and empathic.

While Inherents cannot use magic of their own, and must use artefacts or prepared spells, Intuitives can use subtle magic though it takes long periods on intense focus. Intuitives are often drawn to craft based jobs, imbuing their work with low levels of magic that can later be manipulated for specific purposes.

Of the four classes of Active magicals, only three have names: Fairy, Witch and Wizard.

These are the classes who train beyond mere control, who learn more than a few basic spells and how to not explode with magic every time they get upset.

Having little to no external display of their power levels or training, Witches and Wizards have titles levels that are acknowledged between the various schools, and are earned by passing 'standard requirements’.

Wizard* Levels:

Initiate, Journeyman, Mage, Paladin, Sage, Sophon**

Witch Levels:

Initiate, Disciple, Sorceress, Striga, Lamia, Custosy**

Most students graduate their schools at Journeyman or Disciple levels, though some students like the Trix or Nabu of Andros readily achieve Mage/Sorceress before graduation.

(Though the classes of Active magicals are not divided by gender but presence or lack of Thematic magic, the high gender ratio causes many gender assigned terms within each class. While variations of the titles crop up, the term Sorcerer can mean either a male witch of sorceress level, or a male wizard of similar power, who has chosen to pursue darker magical pathways. Warlock is almost exclusively used for evil wizards.)

*Within the Class of Wizards there are many different schools who may specialise in specific areas and use unique titles in addition to the standard tiers, just as some planets have their own Wizard specific subcultures and identifying terms or traditions.

**It should be noted, that despite 'academic’ opinions, both Wizards and Witches are capable of achieving Guardianship (the level of a Guardian Fairy), though it is very rare, and even rarer is it acknowledged by the general populace of the Magical Dimension.

Unlike Witches, whose origins in the Fairy class and their Thematic magic give them the ability to Manifest a basic Form, Wizards have no such ability.

Which is not to say that neither Witch nor Wizard can acquire Manifest forms.

Fairies themselves only have 3 Innate Forms, Forms which they can achieve by themselves no matter where they’re from.

Gifted Forms, which are acquired by receiving Blessings or creating Bonds with specific Magical Creatures, can in theory be obtained by any Active Magical.

Who can what Cheat Sheet:

  *Fabula, World of Myth and Legend. Sister World to Mysemne, the World of Memory. While Mysemne is a world of history, and keeps factual historical records of the entire Magical Dimension, Fabula is home to the Story Keepers and the Legends and Myths of the Magical Dimension. Fabula is said to be the home of every work of Fiction in the Magical Dimension.

**Bloomix is an Ancient form that has born several names throughout history, Bloomix being the latest.

(The Astralix & Valdrix are pure Alt Con and do not exist in Canon. Likewise Clariel in the Alt Con is the Founder Fairy of Alfea.)

Regardless of what form Active magical can and cannot obtain, Fairies are the only ones who Manifest wings with their Form.

Merfairies are the exception to many of these rules, being a peculiar subsect of Fairy. Some classes, such as Paladin also occasionally possess wings, but these are created through magical study, and are not an inherent ability or Form like Fairy Wings.

Wizards who achieve a high Mage level can manifest magical armour which may appear like a transformation, but is constructed by the Wizard and is the result of intense study and preparation, rather than an innate ability like that of Fairies&Witches.

TLDR:

Wizards don’t have Basic Forms, but they, like Witches can Theoretically obtain wingless versions of several (Gifted) “Fairy” Forms.

Winx Rewrite Worldbuilding Ideas

Ok so for a rewrite of Winx I was thinking about how the fairies and witches gain their magic and where it all comes from and how it could be streamlined to be more clear. (I wasn't going to include all the different transformations that is too convoluted for me thanks)

My Idea was that the reals of Magix were created by the Dragon Flame, or maybe some other all powerful beings as well, and once they had completed the creation of the realms, the people that inhabited them started gaining magic that corresponded to specific parts of the world. These people's powers manifested as basic things, such as light, nature, the elements and the like, with some people gaining specific magical domains, like lava, grain and rainbows. my the time the show takes place, magic has evolved to where a fairy's magical domain can be a kind of material occurrence (elements, parts of nature, etc) or it can be a more abstract concept (Like a fairy of the arts, mathematics, beauty or time). basically if something exists enough then there can be a fairy of it.

The specific kind of magical users who harness this natural magic are known as the World Fae, and the kinds of available magic come from the kinds of things that exist in the world. with an explanation like this, it explains the powers of Bloom, Aisha, Stella and Flora, but also gives explanation of Musa and Tecna, who's powers feel a little bit odd compared to the others. In the rewrite, Tecna's connection to the World Fae magic comes from the fact that, on Zenith, technology has become so ingrained that is is an abundant enough part of the world to be accepted into the magical weave of the world. Same with Musa, in the idea that Melody has enough musical presence for it to be accepted as a part of the world. with this explanation, there can also be more than one fairy of, say fire. I always thought that it was difficult to reason that each fairy's domain was completely unique, especially with the main six having such broad subjects.

Then moving onto the other magic users of Magix, the witches. for a long time, I thought of why they exist in the world, (other than to be antagonists) but then I thought it could be a different way of harnessing the same kind of magic. My idea was that fairies are born with their magic, they have it for their lives and it is specifically bonded to their soul and identity, while the magic of the witches has to be earnt. Inspiration for this dichotomy can be found in D&D, with the fairy equivalent being sorcerers, and witches being the warlock and wizard classes. Witches are people with no inherent magical connection, and so they learn how to draw magic out from the things around them, thus gaining a domain over time (Ice, storms and minds come to thought). with this kind of explanation, I feel like I get rid of the notion that for some reason almost all witches are malevolent or antagonistic, they just achieve magical feats through different means. though, with the setup, I can see a possible storylines where witches are possibly spiteful of fairies for their inherent magic, while they have to work for it. maybe there could be a villainous witch that siphons powers of fairies to fuel themselves, or maybe a fairy of some dark dangerous or malevolent force, like shadows or natural disasters, just to make some more interesting characters than "argh, I'm evil and I do x because of evilness!"

Anyway that was a ramble and a half, but just injecting another idea or two into the winx fandom, we all know they need a distraction from fate, and frankly the later seasons as well

When I read a special about Cornelia and Caleb, I noticed Orube as the keeper of the Heart of Kandrakar and Will as the guardian of earth. I found this idea curious, but their costumes… Girls just had their designs swapped, and it’s so boring. I realize why it happened: it makes no sense to create new outfits for a couple of pages + it’s easier to understand who is what kind of guardian.

But I really wanted to think further. I wanted to give each of the girls an individuality and preserve symbolic features. For example, like Cornelia, Will is wearing a long skirt, but the pattern on her stomach is very similar to her original costume. And Orube retains a headband and a belt that mimics a tail.

I really liked to draw them like this. It’s like it’s a parallel universe where completely different events take place. This opens up space for my imagination :3

Voluntary or instigated servitude (more deeply). Are the feelings sincere? aND WHY, WHY??? I understand why to serve in the XX/XXI century, in the xXXI the most powerful queen in the universe. But in the Silver Millennium, why serve a satellite, if the Earth is supposed to have the Golden Crystal also has its own potential.

Why if Usagi’s Silver Crystal was pre-owned by her mother, but Chibiusa generated her own Pink Moon Crystal? Think about it, it can take chilling turns!!!!

Sapiens/Emotional magic (witch magic vs fairy magic)

So, positive magic, negative magic, their use, the search of BALANCE.

More like, people with one tendencies or others. Here magic is like an outlet for excess emotionsl Emotions and feelings are the energy that fuels magic. Also they say that love is infinite. I rely on something like that for my faes vs witches. It’s nice to think that love is infinite but pain and sadness or hate will never be.

When you finish reading, you will understand that being a user of both magics is very complicated.

Faes

Invoking positive emotions can be easier -it is supposed- and is obviously better seen. People are naturally supposed to help each other. The energy of those emotions is what the fairies drain, but being together, and simply being happy, normal lives (that’s why Kaleidoscopes are large groups unlike Covens), thats what this “energy heart tank” easily fills.

That’s the good thing about fairies. Love, joy, Hope. It is in the smallest things. In a smile, in getting up with good hair, in tasting a meal or feeling the wind and the rain on your face. Even if you don’t notice it yourself, just keep breathing is a sing to life and that really makes others happy. Every single second matters for a fairy.

That the world go round is already a good thing. Except maybe in Omega… that excess of magic/affect energy are the wings. Why Enchantix and Believix are bigger? because it is a stronger kind of love (a selfless act, love of others)

Not to mention that you can use the positive emotions around you. In a concert, a convention, the energy vibrates in the environment, you can catch whatever you want without harming anything or anyone. They feed back.

Fairies are inherently more powerful than witches, which is why they have more transformations too, small samples of love for yourself, for life, for others, to be loved, to love the sea, to love every little thing around you, because everything is important ( the posibilities!). Because a fairy source of energy is more powerful than a witch one.

But sometimes, it’s not so much about the source as the person who uses it and how do you use it, that is why the Trix with fewer transformations compete so much with the Winx.

But if you do not fill your heart tank, you fall into apathy, emotionless and from there you go downhill if you have bad luck. But, maybe fell sadness and hatred is better than do not fell.

Do not fall to the Dark Side Anakin

Witches

For witches, using magic is therapeutic. It makes them feel good… is additive. Yes, you may think that it is counterproductive, but many witches have natures or have grown up in environments that are inclined to negative emotions.

In witch schools there are psychologists and specialized courses on trauma and how to deal with them. That’s why Darcy is so good at what she does and she could have been more (she didn’t try taht hard trust me). For this reason, witches are also considered more dangerous than fairies. Knowledge is power.

The Cloud Tower school has dark colors to welcome its residents without strident stimuli, it is alive and adapts to them. When a witch sees Cloud Tower, they thinks that’s how they are inside and out. But when they walk into school, they realize how true this is. Because not everything is what it seems. Cloudy -as the students call it-  is also playful and can give you a fright if you are careless. It’s misunderstood but welcomes you whatever they think.

Witch are the natural healers. They take bad to do good. But they have to be very, very careful and really, really self-controlled, rigorous. Dumping energy into potions, objects (runes, cards, crystals, anything) is normal for witches to get rid of their negative energy PRODUCTIVELY and on a scheduled basis.

Channels bad emotions can cause some witches to harm other people to get energy more quickly (to get that high faster too), even more if YOU are who cause pain. This is why Domino disappeared. This is why the witches are frowned upon.

Even so, do not think big disasters also give witches as much energy as good great events do to fairies. No, because there is always hope. The same universe conspires to move on.

If the witches completely empty themselves of negative energy it is also bad of course. The use of magic is also the search for balance in yourself but it does not have the same consequences lost all your negative emotions than your positive ones. But it is also bad. Fear is negative, but it also keeps you alive.

The positive energy are rivers, the negative energy are creeks/torrents.

you say you are almost certain. so you are not absolutely certain.

unless you are absolutely, undoubtedly certain — with actual proof — that their writing is ai generated, never ever ask an artist if their work is ai generated.

I know several writers who would stop writing and delete all of their works if they were ever accused of using ai. so it doesn't matter if you are polite when you ask them this, you are suggesting that their works are ai generated, that they didn't create the works they could have spent hours, days, weeks, months or years working on.

ai and chatgpt are trained on real humans' works, they are trained to mimic the way real humans write. so if you say a genuine writer's work "looks ai", I'm gonna have to ask you what you think ai was trained on.

a writer whose English isn't their first language may also write in a way that "looks ai" to some, if they write in English and have to rely on translator.

using em dash isn't a sign of ai. I do it all the time. my fellow writers all love em dash.

having long paragraphs with "overly described scenes" isn't a sign of ai. I do it all the time, and so do my fellow writers.

all the "ai signs" are actually just what most writers actually do. they get mistaken for "ai signs" because sometimes the way writers write or describe a scene in a fanfic or an original work is different than the way people talk or text. because they're writing a fic and describing a scene, not chatting with a friend. the way I talk is different than the way I write my fics.

if you suspect a work was ai generated, but are not 100% sure, you can always just stop reading said work without saying anything.

if someone does use ai to write, they will either a.) deny and continue using ai to write or b.) admit because they see nothing wrong with it and continue using ai to write.

if a genuine writer was wrongly accused of using ai, they may stop writing altogether.

asking a writer if they use ai or chatgpt to write will always do more harm than good. witch hunting will always do more harm than good.

you are not "fighting against ai" by throwing around such accusations. you are harming genuine writers and artists.

it’s not “hey do you like x or y” question. it’s a subtle implication that your work looks like it was written by a robot within a minute. if you personally don’t find that offensive, that’s cool. but I know a lot of writers do. and they have the rights to be discouraged by it.

also we are talking about fanfic writers who write as their hobby, getaway or safe place, writers whose works you read for free. not writers who sell their works and are making profit from what they write. fanfic writers don’t owe you anything.

Asking a writer or artist if they “use AI” is an accusation, no matter how you dress it up. It’s not neutral. It implies you think their effort, style, or voice is artificial. It implies that their human work doesn’t look human enough for you.

You don’t protect the community by policing people who are actually creating from scratch. You protect it by supporting human creators, reporting confirmed AI misuse when there’s evidence, and learning the difference between this sounds different than what I’d write and this is machine-generated.

Writers—especially fanfic authors—already pour their time, emotion, and identity into what they share for free. They don’t owe anyone proof of authenticity on top of that. And if your question makes someone want to quit writing, it’s not protecting the community. It’s shrinking it.

If you’re not 100% sure, just scroll. AI ethics don’t need to turn into public inquisition season.
