Summary:

Whelp, it’s 4pm. My yard is mowed, weed whacked, and the bushes trimmed. All of the dog 💩is picked up and the sandbox is covered.

Our garage is swept out and organized.

Our vehicle is vacuumed and ready to be packed up.

Inside the house, all of the camp laundry has been done, bathrooms cleaned, and and the floors are washed.

All I have left to do is the actual work to get ready to go camping. 😳

Song Review: Neil Young - “Heading West”

Though he always says he prefers to look forward rather than backward, Neil Young looks way back on “Heading West.”

Good old days/good old days/Mommy got me my first guitar, he and Crazy Horse sing on the refrain.

The latest preview single to escape from Crazy Horse’s Barn (Dec. 10) - it follows “Song of the Seasons” - “Heading West” finds Young recounting his childhood, staying out until the streetlights began to glow and remembering his parents’ divorce.

The music is what fans would expect from the Horse, electric, hard-snorting, ragged, and distorted; the only surprise being Nils Lofgren’s minor-key piano just below the surface.
