The air smells like the sea, even when I’m far from it.Listening to this song called “Hericane” by Lany, and thinking how could my own mother always hurt me. “I love you still, I always will, but this needs to change.”.. it does. There’s so much going on in my head.. there’s always so much going on in my head. I’m suffering from all these noises again.
The next song is up. It’s ILYSB by the same band from earlier. Ugh. I love you so bad? but my heart hurts so good? I wish I could be that right now. My heart is hurting so bad, but I love you oh so good. Why the fuck is this happening? I should go smoke now.. because like Tove Lo said: “I gotta stay high all the time, to keep you off my mind”.. THIS TOO SHALL PASS. I’m not gonna lie. It was soul-crushing to be advised that @FotoFest was cancelled the very morning it was set to begin. Like many fellow artists, this has been a week of #headspinning disappointments, the drumbeat of cancelled exhibition emails seemingly unrelenting. 🦠 On the plus side, the @menilcollection stayed open with a fantastic show of #surrealistphotography.
