Very happy to learn we're getting a rerelease of Despite Yourself, my personal favourite Headswim album, from the Trapped Animal record label. This one goes in a more downbeat Britpop/ electronic direction, away from the grungy debut. It's only been available to buy on secondhand CD for the longest, and it's some of the first music I remember hearing growing up, so naturally it's one I've spent a lot of time looking into over the years. Watching the fanbase reconnect over the last several years, and then the band themselves, has been an awesome thing to watch. So this is news I've been mildly hoping for for a long time now.
