Getting dressed up like that was already bad enough, but now that Hope was seeing it, he was ‘really’ embarrassed. He was never going to live this down, will he. “You better keep quiet about that.” Cloud’s tone didn’t really sound threatening, partly because threatening Hope would just be cruel, and also because he had a feeling Hope knew to be respectful about it anyway. “I just did this to save Tifa, for the record.”

Ah, that reminded him. “Stay away from the don.” If Corneo were to see Hope, they’d have the next victim Cloud would have to come and get out of that house.

For one with young eyes, he spoke with great wisdom. The huntress knew their time extended lives allowed knowledge to emerge from the fringes of time itself. Settling beside him, she offered him some tea before running a hand through her wild mane of hair.

"No, you can't, and yet people in other places believe in such things. A life is still a life regardless and there were many times I should have stayed my blade but did not in times of us versus them. I did not understand being naive at the time. However, learning from you and the others during our adventures opened my eyes more than they ever had been. I needed that wake up and shake up call. It's never easy admitting things to yourself but it's how one grows from it. Growth beats out that way of thinking."

he had barely gotten out of shower, the wounds on his back still visible from the last fight with pain as he looked over at hope. the boy was occupying his bed and the blond walked over, hands on his hips, thinking the silver haired male was deeply asleep only to be proved otherwise. “ hmpf. “ a hand reached back to scratch at his nape before he climbed on top of hope, smiling when he caught two surprised eyes before he leaned down to gently press his lips against the other’s, a hand coming up to cup his cheek.

The statement was not without merit as Fang realized who the young man spoke of. While she was  well aware it was aimed at a certain hero, the huntress had to think over it. Snow could be a reckless force of pure power with a stubborn streak  a mile wide and yet at the heart of it, he had a heart for trying to do the right thing. She had seen instances of both sides of the same coin enough to understand.

"Yes, he does but he means well enough. I should know after knocking him down a few times. He had the head strength of one too but in a good way."
