I feel like some don't get the crackhumor we do on these blogs and think we're being serious with all our posts, instead of shooting our shit with a dose of goofy self deprecating self ridicule. Sure we make serious meta posts. But even those are at times meant to be humorous. The characters in Naruto are so exaggerated as they are, how can you not find them funny? Most of our one liners are like incorrect Naruto quotes.

....I want more people to appreciate the gamins' socks full of cockchafers. Just. Here's these starving kids selling socks full of a fancy food ingredient they really don't have the means to make edible (all the cockchafer recipes I've seen call for some serious cooking , and for other ingredients) , something very common that they are probably better able than anyone to obtain but not in any reliable way...I don't know, it's a really powerful little touch to me . Few people seem to care about the descriptions of the gamins in the fields generally but that passage and that little touch to it are some of my favorite sections. It's the sort of thing that makes me have to put the book down and stare into space for a while.
