I can only imagine the version of this show where Shaxs stayed dead and we missed out on 4 seasons of arguably the best member of the bridge crew. Just think about the classic moments we wouldn't have gotten with him.

Okay, so, jokes aside, here's what totally rules about having a male best friend.

See, he can hook you up with his hot friend.  And then he can get you all the dirty little details about said hot friend and what he thinks of you.  It's marvelous.  Because girlfriends are obviously superior in general, but guys don't trust them because they know they'll tell you, so typically your girls can't squeeze out much info.  At least, not the juicy stuff.  But when you've got a guy on your side who actually places you above his bros but no one knows that you're his bestie, you've got it made in the shade, baby.
