Okay. So if anyone here has been following my blog for any length of time, you might know that one of its recurring jokes is The Legend of Amok T’im, the Hulkin’ Vulcan.
Amok T’im started as a typo, but his legend grew.
Other people also got really into my headcanon that Amok T’im was real, especially @per-ineptia-ad-astra:
We decided Amok T’im was the correct Vulcan spelling.
Amok T’im is one of the few headcanons I’ve created that I’ve seen referenced outside of my own posts. I love him dearly.
So this week I was watching what I think is one of Star Trek: Lower Decks’ best episodes, wej Duj, which features the lower decks of not only the Cerritos, but a Klingon and a Vulcan ship. Some of the Vulcans’ names are spoken (including a character called T’GAI...), and some are not. I wanted to know more about them.
I found myself on Lower Decks’ IMDB page.
(I know this is a coincidence and has nothing to do with my blog. But a girl can dream. Hire me, Lower Decks.)
