As I use Tumblr more, I shall make a pinned post! The stuff I do:

ART:

I enjoy art! I mainly do digital art, but also dabble in stuff like 3D, traditional, comics, and want to branch out into more consistent editing and pixel art. I do both fanart and original character art!

MEDIA:

In terms of the kind of media you can expect here, in general I like a wide variety of stuff, you can expect TV/animation/video game talk. In specific, stuff you'll see more often are animation (big on FoP right now), Star Trek, Doctor Who and Nintendo games in general.

Art Tag: #MyArt for art and #meme made for edits. You can filter it by series to find something in particular, the ones with the most stuff right now are Fairly Oddparents, Star Trek and Doctor Who.

Specific Tags: #fop musing, #trek musing, #dw musing, #leverage musing, as well as sm musings for more general thoughts.

OTHER:

I will occasionally politics/social issues post. It wont be the main thing about this Tumblr but this also wont be a blog where that sort of thing doesn't exist. It will usually have the appropriate tags though.

I'm around 20 episodes into watching Ouran for the first time and it's crazy how it just totally destroys all the other modern romance anime I've seen.

It's so funny, it's ahead of its time, and you can see it imprinting on the mind of every wattpad girlie in real time.

Love Aharen is Indecipherable but it's annoying how hard it had to dance around the best friend having a crush on the mc in 2025 and then in 2006 Ouran is like "here is the lesbian girl school for gays."

I'm not saying I dislike the "having to wait for and earn the captaincy" storyline. There's obviously a lot of really interesting stories there and great character beats that have resulted in some of my favorite Trek characters. But there is an extremely noticeable pattern in which show leads need character development to move up the ranks

And who is presented as inherently qualified from the beginning

And before anyone mentions her, yes, I know we have Captain Freeman, but she's not the lead of her show

"But Michael's journey and growth is the thesis for her character!" "But Dal's story is genuine and well crafted and earned!"

Yes, I know. That's the point of this post. While I personally think the Sisko reasons are stupid regardless, even with him, in isolation none of these stories are necessarily a problem. They're in fact pretty good stories; I love all of these characters very much. But when you stack them up against the bigger picture in Star Trek, it doesn't paint a pretty picture.

And because someone brought it up in the replies, tos and aos Kirk are both on here because those are different characters in my view. He's on here twice when Picard isn't despite them both being the lead twice because tng and Picard Picard are the same person, just at different points in his life. The Kirks are entirely separate in my opinion. Also the reply said 3 Kirks, so to clarify, that last guy is Pike, not Kirk
