janus as a terrible therapist who overcharges, gives terrible advice, and never once stops himself from taking whatever he wants? a therapist who MARRIES one of his clients? who ends appointments early when the topic gets too difficult to answer. who dodges questions? who says "I'll make you well!" to people who are sick despite lacking in any skills to make that happen? "why dont you feel alright for the rest of your life?": just be happy! just be happy just do what makes you happy why would you be sad??? mendel is SO janus.

and logan as trina? the breakdown, constantly ignored and pushed aside? doing everything in his power to keep the family unit running, even when its all falling apart? a man clinging to the ground as the ground keeps shifting? who thinks everyone around him is childish and foolish? a man who is petty and wants everything his way?

im just saying. listen to a day in falsettoland and just. picture trina and mendel as logan and janus. its so good.
