My daily writings to God

I'm done living in the dark and settling for nothing in life. How can I remove myself from the dark? The struggles I have for the light to shine. Dear God, I just want scream today my motivation is so off today, I can't pick myself up and start anything. I just want hide in the closet. I know I complain about the same thing but I don't know how to change it.

The Dark Night

It was a party.

I was friends with your best friend but I didn't know you; so I followed your beautiful face around the house as subtly as I could.

You didn't catch on.

You gave me half of the last slice of pizza; and with that you had begun to steal my heart.

It wasn't until our mutual friends' mother blurted "Kiss her already!" that you really looked at me with those piercing eyes.

Your lips parted slightly but you didn't know it was right unlike how Batman did on the screen just across the footstool.
