General Backstory
Ramon Miyamoto was raised with his father that worked for a secretive research facility in Japan. They dealt development of research to engineer medical tools and pharmaceutical goods. Due to this position, His mother passed away after giving birth to his younger brother when he was around ten years old. She was always known as a frail, but caring and sweet woman by those that knew her. Her death effected him greatly, without her it felt like it was just him and his sister; as his father was rarely home.
At first, Ramon wanted to hate his new younger brother due to losing his mother but his dislike toward the baby could not last for long. He felt pity for his brother to have to be raised by nannies and never getting the chance to know their mother. Over the short time it turned to love and protectiveness, due to his father’s absence he try to be a good role model for his little brother.
His father always hoped Ramon would join him and his colleges as a researcher due to how good of a student he was. Due to feeling pressured into it the young man decided to intern for the facility when his father prompted him too during his last high school years at 18 years old. However, the internship was not exactly what he was expecting when he was interested in something he was not expecting. Things that were not suppose to exist, aside from television and comics.
That there was extraterrestrials working alongside them. Strange, odd though highly sapient creatures among them called Baxtearks and was meant to alongside one of them. She was called Tauvaoa and was revealed to be incredibly close to his father, to the point the pair was seen in a romantic light. His father did not know how to reveal that since he’s been windowed that he found love with another widow of alien origins until forced to.
It took him a long time to accept this idea and now that his father is home more often with a lighter consequence without his new wife. Honestly, he is still getting use it but he accepted Tauvaoa and her own daughter, Suova in there life to the point of getting a operation to have some Baxteark blood inside of him right before she passed away eventually; sadden by the fact their kind die at such a young age, just when he was becoming close to her.
Now Ramon works at the facility permanently as a assistant researcher and seems protective of the aliens that live around them.
General Personality
He’s quiet though reliable and organized, likes to think before rushing into things and is shown to be incredibly intelligent. He works hard and is the type responsible, dependable type.
Most of the time have a serious and collected air about himself, seeming stern and standoffish initially with people. However, once known he is actually a very thoughtful and genuine person.
Due to his reserved nature it can be heard to read or get close to him. He doesn’t easily trust others, however when he is close to someone he wishes to be helpful.
Calm and composed, doesn’t usually buckle under pressure. Shown to be quite straight forward and direct when he speaks, despite his reservedness can be sociable enough not be seen as completely aloof or broody.
