Everything had been excruciatingly painful. It had felt as if hell’s flames had swallowed him and encased him in a pit of fire that had eaten all the way into the very marrow of his bones. It had been more painful than anything that he had felt before and had made the youth unable to focus on anything else as screams had tore from his throat before everything had gone black.
Without a warning, big azure hues suddenly flew open with deep fear dancing within them, making it clear that the earlier incident was still very fresh in the boy’s young mind, even with the sudden cold all around him, numbing the burns that now littered Touya’s small body. However, hearing that familiar voice, the fear instantly lessened as fat tears took over, running down pale cheeks while bloodshot eyes took on an even deeper color of red.
The voice, the oh so welcomed voice made Touya instantly focus upon the only other individual in the room as droplets connected with the floor below while small arms instinctively reached out to pull his sister close. Sobs wrecked through the youth’s body and for once, Touya was not the strong one, for once, the elder clung to someone as fair lips gasped for air while each breath danced erratically from them.
