     “     oh,   come  on,   rach.     ”     head  tilts  slightly,   rosy  lips  parting  in  obvious  objection  to  her  coyness     ---     he  knows  perfectly  well  how  attractive  he  is,   how  easily  the  girls  fall  for  the  same  grin  he  gives  her  now.  chad  doesn’t  have  to  question  whether  or  not  she  really  likes  him   :   they  all  do.     “     look.  i  know  you’re  into  me,  okay   ?     ”     and  honestly,   that’s  nothing  for  rachel  to  be  ashamed  of   !   it’s  only  natural,   afterall,   and  he  thinks  that  they  had  a  shot    ...     if  the  grade  he'd  gotten  a  glimpse  of  during   their  last  class  was  anything  to  go  by.     “     you  don’t  need  to  deny  it     ----     ”     a  finger  is  held  out  to  hush  the  girl  before  she  can  interject.     “     because   ...   i  think  i  might  like  you  too   !     ”

Carlos obviously deals with some serious anxiety issues, and those headphones he wears in d2 ??? he refuses to walk around on his own without them. around school, like between classes and things he tends to be okay because he is working on his issues in auradon and getting better little by little, but he just can’t leave ap without those headphones on unless he has someone with him. they’re a distraction from his own thoughts and worries and having them at hand is super useful so they’re almost always on his person

     he  had  never  been  able  to  say  so  on  the  isle     (     too  afraid  of  being  further  alienated  from  the  others  to  ever  express  such  good,   soft,   human  emotions     )     but  he  loves  the  three  of  them.  obviously.  if  they  didn’t  mean  quite  so  much  to  him,   carlos  wouldn’t  be  here  right  now.  he  would  do  anything  for  mal,   but  that  didn’t  make  returning  any  easier.  he  glances  nervously  at  evie   :   his  closest,   most  trusted  friend.     “      i   ...   i  really  don’t  like  this,   e.     ”

     why  should  he  feel  any  pity  for  this  girl  when  she  brought  all  of  the  unnecessary  drama  unto  herself   ?   no  matter  how  long  they’d  been  friends  for,   if  sunny  chose  to  actively  go  against  his  word,   to  tarnish  the  reputation  of  his  beloved  team  in  doing  so,   then  the  matter  is  practically  out  of  his  hands   !     “     awh.     ”     a  sickly  sweet  hum,     “     it’s  basically  MY  table,   darling.  i  can  do  whatever  i  want  with  it.     ”     he  shakes  his  head     -----     tutting  as  though  he  was  about  to  scold  a  toddler.     “     you  know   ...   if  you’d  only  quit  the  team   we  can  still  put  it  all  behind  us.     ”
