Spelunking on Slade's Island
"Our journey into the caverns will be of excitement, will it not?" Starfire quipped to no one in particular. It was an interesting mix of people that were to follow her into the cave: Jericho, a close friend and ally; Dove and Krista, girls that nobody seemed familiar with; Kitten, an annoying, but fairly harmless antagonist; and Cheshire, the mysteriously masked ex(?)-villainess that hung around the Titans East Tower.
Starfire had volunteered to lead this rag tag team into the caves, partially because her starbolts had regained some strength and could now light their way, but also because she had hoped to befriend the three new girls. She had introduced herself to them prior to, but the Tamaranean hadn't really had the chance to further converse with them. Exploring the dark caves was the perfect opportunity!
"This is everyone, yes? Then, let us commence our exploration!" Starfire announced as she raised her palm. A dim, glowing sphere appeared from her hand, enough to weakly illuminate the tall mouth of the cave where they stood. Starfire stepped forward into the darkness. "Please remain in close proximity to me, friends!" she instructed as she began to walk (her flying abilities had not fully recovered yet) at a steady pace.
