Spelunking on Slade's Island
"Our journey into the caverns will be of excitement, will it not?" Starfire quipped to no one in particular. It was an interesting mix of people that were to follow her into the cave: Jericho, a close friend and ally; Dove and Krista, girls that nobody seemed familiar with; Kitten, an annoying, but fairly harmless antagonist; and Cheshire, the mysteriously masked ex(?)-villainess that hung around the Titans East Tower.
Starfire had volunteered to lead this rag tag team into the caves, partially because her starbolts had regained some strength and could now light their way, but also because she had hoped to befriend the three new girls. She had introduced herself to them prior to, but the Tamaranean hadn't really had the chance to further converse with them. Exploring the dark caves was the perfect opportunity!
"This is everyone, yes? Then, let us commence our exploration!" Starfire announced as she raised her palm. A dim, glowing sphere appeared from her hand, enough to weakly illuminate the tall mouth of the cave where they stood. Starfire stepped forward into the darkness. "Please remain in close proximity to me, friends!" she instructed as she began to walk (her flying abilities had not fully recovered yet) at a steady pace.

"Okay, twerps, listen up: I know I am probably the LAST person you want to deal with, but, like, until we get out of this hellhole we need to stick together." Kitten balled her hands into fists before placing them on her petite frame. This was her time to take charge and damnit she wasn't going to waste it. "So, before we get down to business, who exactly are you two? Are you new to the titan circus?" She wished that she had her sunglasses; having to squint just to see her group was a pain.

It's been 48 hours so this is the order for the new thread (provided by a list generator)! Since we have 8 characters in this one thread try to limit your post length; we may split the characters into two or more threads to continue this side plot, but for now we will be starting with all 8. Also note that the updated activity rules apply to this thread.
The thread plot is left up to interpretation and imagination, but if you have any questions please message me (Fe) on Skype. We will also be discussing this thread and its plot potential at our upcoming meetings.

IMPORTANT- New Stranded thread for immediately active members
Since many members are on hiatus and their Stranded threads halted, we are going to be doing a thread that time-skips over the previous thread set with the members that are immediately active.
The very basic premise of the thread is that caves were discovered by one of the scouting groups and some of the characters decide to go exploring. We will start with this and go on from there.
Please LIKE this thread with your character's blog if you feel like you can actively take on this additional thread. Those who like this post in the next 48 hours will be added to the finalized posting order that will be uploaded.
Possible Side-thread for Stranded & a New Moderator!
At our next meeting, we will be discussing having a sort of Stranded side-thread for the members that are readily available. Many of our members are on hiatuses and their threads are on hold, so this is a great way to keep the plot rolling. Feel free to bring any ideas to next week's meeting!

Well this is fun.
Said no one. Ever.
Jade's shoulders slumped as she saw who was around her. He feet dragged on the ground, pointed toes of her boots struggling across the grass that poked its way through sand and dirt.
Jade bent down, picking up what she could pass as food. A coconut. "Here. Look. It's like your head." She extended her arm to Roy, rolling the brown, hairy palm tree testicle in his face. "Hard. Unlike other parts." She wasn't mad at Speedy. Or anyone, really. Just more so angry at herself for being separated from her daughter.
"Alright." Jade said, tossing the coconut to Speedy. "I'm not claiming anyone's in charge of anything. If anyone's good at purifying salt water, or finding any form of water, your skills would be much appreciated. Thanks."
She slammed a fist into a nearby palm tree, with her claws. "There. Now we know we're not going on circles. And now..." another coconut. "Grreeaaat." She muttered.
"We'd have better luck trying to stab fish in the ocean. Any thoughts?"
