Stranger Danger? More like Stranger Love

I'm stranded in this Greyhound bus depot, crying, trying to figure out someway to get to Vancouver before my FanExpo plans go up in smoke, and this woman with a 5 year old is sitting next to me. I don't want to rant or anything to her, don't want to break down too much- she has a young kid she has enough to deal with. We rag on the Greyhound service for stranding us out here like this, refusing to let us on buses, delaying others, etc etc. I get pretzels from a vending machine because the cafe is closed and offer her some and she politely declines. Her friend comes by later with McDonald's breakfast sandwiches for her, her son, himself.... and me. She gave me breakfast and she doesn't even know my first name.

Sometimes people are just good.
