Though we’re gutted that San Francisco’s HEARTWATCH, fka The Tropics, seems to be on permanent hiatus these last couple of years after winning us over with songs like Faultlines and Never Let You Go, we’re equally ecstatic that lead vocalist Claire George has gone on to launch a solo career. Now based out of Los Angeles, the singer songwriter is preparing to release her debut EP Bodies Of Water, off which comes this gorgeous indie pop song, ‘Where Do You Go?’. With melodious synth progressions akin to Geographer’s enchanting music, the delicate skittering beauty of early BROODS, and a soft blanket of HAERTS’ gusty piercing allure, Claire George draws us into the wondrously roaming ballad. At the crux of the song is her breathtaking vocals, a lithe and supple performance that reaches astonishing heights.
