rewatching heated rivalry again, anyone else notice that the second shane tells ilya that he and rose weren't compatible in tampa, the diegetic music changes from boys will be girls ('i met a boy who didn't know he was so beautiful' instantly before "I hired a stylist" btw) to hollanov from the original soundtrack? the song called hollanov. the second ilya finds out rose is no longer in the picture. and hollanov (which is the song name) starts playing. while ilya was scared shane might be getting properly serious about rose ('I never said that it wouldn't hurt / to be alone / in a lonesome world'), but then he's saying they're not... [hollanov kicks in] ... compatible. like the world opens up. like it's possible again. hollanov is back on the fucking menu
