We Were Beautiful by Heather Hepler
Damn! This book was amazing! Honestly, it was the first book I finished within 24 hours of starting it in years. I loved Mia and her internal conflict and the friends and family she made along the way in her discovery of self-love. This was such a nice book and I'd recommend it to anyone who likes contemporary YA who isn't looking for something that has a solely romantic plotline. There is romance, and it's sweet, but it's not the focus of the story.
