Darkness. Nothing but darkness, the empty void, all that she knew. The strange “lids” on her eyes fluttered. A new sensation plagued her, one that stung, one she didn’t understand. Vision poured into her mind, but it wasn’t clear, it waved. Green liquid surrounded her. It failed to swarm up into her nostrils and down into her lungs. Her eyes widened as a strange, high pitched noise escaped her chest, as her lungs expanded and then returned to the state they were before. A strange plastic filter with a tube was connected to her face and she made note that her feet made no contact with anything.
She noticed a beating in her ears, and the strange bright lights that swallowed the existence beyond her own. Her arm reached out, a cold sensation met her hand. Her fist balled she slammed it on the glass, and the glass gave way. Her body followed the water, lacking control over it. She was met with a cold floor, cold room, and a sound that blared through her body. Her mind flooded with memories of things not meant to be seen, what her name was, who she was, who she was meant to be.
In pure fear, red electricity erupted around her. She screamed, something of agony and terror. She vanished right before the eyes of armored men and women who ran into the room a moment too late. A man burst forth from the crowd, tall and built like a tower. He wore a black coat bedazzled with medals that indicated his higher rank. His black hair was long, and met his shoulders. He barked orders as he shoved his subordinates about, before he slammed the door against the wall, boots thumping down the hall.
Warm liquid poured from her eyes as she laid in the cold, white sheets. Tall architectures cobbled together stood before her, all around her. There wasn’t a warm embrace to be found as her mind struggled with the horrors it knew. Unfamiliar faces of varying colors and garments carefully inspected her before they decided to carry her off, to an unknown building with a red cross crudely painted on.
Her mind faded into the void she found familiar and safe, like a mother’s womb.
My plan for Heather's redesign. She will have a neural patch on her nape and lines will extend across her skin like nerve systems. The lines will be red.
Your star will shine and then it will fall
Too much to believe, too much to deny
But the thief came out in my London town
There must be an end to the darkness
The night's a shock that cuts right through you
You give up like every time before
From the rainwater well deep as a secret nobody knows
That the ghost you love, your ray of light will fizzle out
I'll be the one to protect you from a will to survive and a voice of reason.
This chaos, this calamity, this garden once was perfect
I'm tired of this human duet
Where we'll drag you from where you are to where you belong
Stand aside as they bow to the call of the beast
Driving dark
