YES! The selkie AU! I drew some sketches inspired by a fic awhile back! I wanna say it was by 'thosetigereyes'... I'm like 99.87% sure! But I'm inspired to go back to this idea with recent inspiration.

“All witches wear robes.”

“With duckies?” His own lips twitch.

“Shut up,” she grouses.

“Like. So many duckies, Agatha.”

HELLO??? somehow i missed that the mumbroom fic you dedicated to me existed for a full 4 months and 9 days??

i checked my gifts today by accident because of a question someone had about gifts and gift exchange fics and i was like, w h a t 👀👀👀👀👀 and honestly i am not a worthy recipient of such a lovely fic! but i am SO grateful and honoured!!

I’m so glad you liked it - I’ve just been reading your comments and I have honestly never smiled harder in my life 😭 the fact that I admire you as an author so so much, and you are someone who loves and understands Hecate as a character an incredible amount… to know that you enjoy the way I’ve written her is just so!!!! Honestly your comments & reactions mean so much to me I can’t stop fucking giggling and smiling! Your comments are fantastic, and I love that you noticed & enjoyed the little details i added in to make it clear Hecate is autistic !!! because her being visibly autistic is really important to me, and idk I just feel like it was one of the things I was really hoping to accomplish with the fic when I set out to write it.

25. What’s your most popular fanfic?

It depends on how you define popular. Purely from a data perspective, I took a look at my AO3 stats and by most hits and most kudos, it’s a Monk rare-pair (Stottlemeyer/Disher) fic I wrote for Yuletide (a small fandoms fic exchange) lo these many years ago. 

My most book-marked fic is another Yuletide fic, where I wrote an alternate ending for The Age of Innocence by Edith Wharton. 

Looking at number of comment threads, a bunch of my fics are basically at the same place, although The Dance Lesson, a Hackle fic featuring Maud is technically at the top.

26. How do you come up with your fanfic titles?

Ahahahaha. Most of the time I find titling difficult. Since joining tumblr I’ve taken to using lines from poetry as titles far more often. I’ll also use quotes from the source material for the fic, or quotes from other works. Sometimes I will start with a phrase that sort of conveys the feeling I want and keep reworking until it feels right. Sometimes it’s a basic description of something about the fic.

44. What ship do you feel needs more attention?

Laura/Rosemary (Rosemary & Thyme)

@hovercraft79 have talked a lot about how much we’d love this ship to get more attention. These are the leads is a charming and sometimes utterly ridiculous cozy mystery show with two middle-aged ladies who meet by chance and end up running a landscaping business, solving plant mysteries and solving murders together. They banter together! They share a room ALL THE TIME (though sadly there are always two beds). Their skills complement each other! One of them is a university professor & plant pathologist and the other is an ex-cop & enthusiastic and knowledgable amateur gardener. They save each other from bad guys! (For a show that doesn’t actually canonically ship them there are quite a lot of shippy tropes in it.)

Hubblestar (The Worst Witch)

It’s such a lovely ship and I’d be thrilled if there were more of it. Someday, when I have a better grasp on both Julie and Dimity, I’d like to write some full-length Hubblestar-centric fic.

Millie/Jean (Bletchley Circle/Bletchley Circle: San Francisco)

Ahhh, I have so many feelings about these two and I want to get back to writing them, possibly later in the summer or the early fall.

Delenn/Sinclair (Babylon 5) 

I understand why there isn’t much fic for this fandom, let alone this pairing, and in some ways I don’t want there to be a big online presence for this fandom because it’d be too easy to accidentally spoil people for the show that way. This is a show that should absolutely be consumed spoiler free if you can at all manage it. That being said, I adore Delenn and Sinclair and I think there’s a ton of interesting ideas to explore with the two of them, that also involve them as a ship. I also would love some canon-divergent AUs about them.
