"My bones are tired. I can feel them getting heavier and heavier. And I'm slowly losing the strength to keep pulling them up over and over and over again."
how is it that every single song in death stranding is so meticulously placed into the game ??????
like low roar's dont be so serious plays in the beginning of the game kinda setting that uncertain mood the players might have in this foreign world. everything is confusing, little is explained, there are monsters with hands .....??? the rain is acid ?????....? and im just tumbling down the mountain to deliver this piece of cargo... like okay ig im a delivery man now ..?.??? also this song feels so cold and alone compared to the other songs that we hear later on when we have lou with us
then we hear low roar's give up after making some progress in the game and it just gives out the vibe that despite being so alone out here, delivering cargos, with lou on your side you dont feel so alone anymore. it feels so intimate.
bb's theme in the end........ listening to the song while i was on my way to the incinerator really made me tear up and realized that ive made a way deeper connection with this baby than ive actually thought. it was so perfect i LITERALLT did not wanted to go to the incinerator god DAMMIT brb circling around the incinerator just cRYING
and death stranding by chvrches during the ending credit was PERFECT. it matched with that whole "end of the game" vibe. it was like a wishful song for the future of all the characters in the game... and it made me tear up for some reason........ realizing everything is over and looking back on everything our characters went through.... cmon it's impossible not to feel emotional
the soundtrack is fucking gold like i dont know how... everything feels nostalgic but at the same time so foreign and strange but also intimate and warming. it's just ... amazing
