Your Light Like ships in the night Like other galaxies in the universe Like every star in the sky Things happen the way the do For the reasons that they do As humans we question them Some questions lead to fallacies Others to unsolved mysteries Sometimes conversations that spark ideas Knowing and understanding Loving and cherishing That is the best thing one can do Accept the things we know no answers to Embrace the things that don't make sense Live in the moment while the moment breathes life Exude beauty and kindness Welcome difficulties they create growth Expect growing pains and treat them accordingly Never change yourself for others Believe in the power that you possess Run with the wild horses Trust yourself first Surround yourself with love But never, never change who you are for vanity Become a better version of yourself for sanity Peace and serenity and build inner happiness Grow to see your worth within that is hidden Don't let them blow out your candle Never let them break you just strengthen you Remember who loves you with love that is pure Turn your nose down at no one Know your enemies let that make you stronger Kill them with kindness till they can't stand it Cry when you need to Scream when you want to Let it out because you can Understand my love In time things change All for the better Iron sharpens iron Be with those who bring out your best Support systems are key Be true to you Be true to life Never put out your own light E.P. 3/4/15
