Old words I think we should bring back
Prithee: shortened version of “I pray thee”, basically means “please”
Wottest: to understand, in a sentence you would say something like “I wottest not”
Marry: an exclamation meaning “indeed”. We could use more fun exclamations imo. You’d say something like “Do you like my drawing of my OC?” “MARRY!!!”
Anon: meaning “later” or “at another time” or “soon”. So you would say like “I’ll do it anon”
Beshrew: means “to curse someone”. Not witchy curse, more like “I hate you and hope bad things happen to you”. Can you imagine being in a fight with someone and ending it with “Whatever, I beshrew you”
Troth: it’s a little hard to explain this one, it basically means your honor/faith, means “you have my word” when use it in a sentence like “by my troth”
Good-den: another way of saying “good morning”
Haply: “by accident/coincidentally” or “maybe”
