It’s appropriate to wish a special man Happy Birthday. South Africa has had a meandering road since he’s been gone, but I still believe his leadership legacy will endure. Our biggest challenges remain. Inequality. Poverty. Education. Nutrition. Crime (white collar and otherwise). These are not insurmountable challenges. Through the stuff we are doing at @heavychef, Ms @caleyvdk, the #heavychef team and I aim to contribute our bit to tackling these challenges, as best as we can. Hopefully, future birthday presents will arrive in the guise of Madiba-shaped leaders busting out of our fast growing community. Happy birthday #madiba #100yearsold. (at Nelson Mandela Square)
