“Yeah, can I help you?” The girl crossed her arms belatedly, with a quick fix to her posture. She straightened up to seem taller, more confident in herself than the waiver in her voice had let on. Her eyes trailed up and down over the woman, sizing up what exactly she was up against--if she could figure that part out at all. The flowered dress was unnerving people still wore cheesy flowers on dresses like that?? but it was the cunning half smile the woman wore--both confident and mysterious is what kept Daisy’s attention. Daisy was skilled at such a smirk herself...except it wasn’t her executing it from her playbook. The woman seemingly had come out of nowhere, catching Daisy off guard at the false thought she had gotten away safely when a pickpocket attempt went bad. Daisy didn’t know how she had tracked her down ( she was better at getting away than that. ) or if she ad followed her here to her spot. Maybe they had crossed paths before? Stolen from her once or twice? But one thing for certain, she wasn’t used to being the intimidated one. And much worse, being the dull fish hooked in by someone else’s string of words. “What is it that you want from me?”
