This was literally 13 weeks ago.. May 27, 2013 was the last day I saw you and the last day you were here before going to basic training. This was the last picture we took before you left. Literally. This was our temporary farewell until you come back but I'm sure we'd call it, "see you soon." I went 13 weeks without being able to see, hear, talk, hug, anything that had to deal with you. All I had were letters if you weren't busy. Now, 13 weeks passed by sloqly but quickly as well and in 11 hours I'll be seeing you graduate from basic and become a marine. An amazing one at that. I'm honestly nervous to see you again. A good nervous though and you can bet I am beyond happy to be able to see you in 11 hours. I can't wait. We both stayed strong and I'm so proud of you. I can't wait to have our first picture together in a long time. I can't wait to see you. (: I love you, Elton!
