It's so hard to fall to sleep. The rollercoaster starts up again and there's no stopping it. No more distractions to block out the strong sea of emotions. It doesn't help to think about the days I wont get to see you while you're here because in all honesty it hurts.
The funny thing is I know I'll feel these emotions for years to come. Although it'll suck, I'll gladly deal with it for you. Cause that pain is only temporary but the pain of not having you in my life would be unbearable. Yes, I know there's the possibility of being handed a folded up flag at our door step. Yes, I know this life wont always be smooth sailing. Yes, I know that half the time I wont know the next move. Yes, I know planning things will be a waste of time or atleast seem like it 99% of the time. Yes, I know you wont always be around on the holidays and that you'll miss birthdays, anniversary, etc. I know all these things and more; but none of that is going to stop me from more than loving you for the rest of our lives.
