   My Hedgehog Freya

I love my hedgehog Freya even though she she makes big messes and tears all things to smithereens while wearing big fluffy dresses How she tracks in mud after it rains and snarls as soon as she sees you I love her though she’s a pain And everyone knows it’s true. Why just today she took a nap and to do it she crawled in my books not minding the pages that flap or caring just how silly she looked... I had no heart to take her out because she soon fell fast asleep My notebook I’d have to do with out so I ne’er did make a peep.

Remember those 40 hedgehogs that arrived in amazon boxes, from the South Essex Wildlife Hospital? Just yesterday they paid another visit to the centre. This time however, to collect 25 of the 40, as they are almost ready to be released, back in to the wild!
