For Magna and Luck, fighting is the highest level of intimacy. It’s all Luck thinks about, and to get to partake with his best friend must be thrilling. Magna always seems to fall short of Luck- Luck could so easily have a stronger rival, someone who is so much more powerful, talented with their magic. But no one fights like Magna, no one has the burning desire to keep up with him like Magna, no one else will drop what they’re doing to fight him like Magna. For Magna, his best friend gives him the passion to keep fighting and pushing forward, even when he feels he can never be as good as the others. He can’t let that jerk get ahead of him, not in a million years. And Luck knows hes the one who can keep pushing Magna to get better than he already is. With their constant fighting for so many years, they already know each other’s fighting styles, strengths, weaknesses, inside and out. E.g, Luck has weaker defence due to relying on his magic to fight, compared to Magna who trains his body more, which Magna of course knows and uses to his advantage. This makes them the perfect fighting duo, dubbed the ‘Black Bulls special assault duo’. Knowing someone so deeply like that is the highest level of intimacy and love you can get.
